They were eating the business money right from time. 😂 I know what this thing is, my mother suffered this thing too. My dad gave her some money to add to her capital to open a provision and continence store. And all of a sudden he stopped carrying any of the bills in the house everything was on my mother. Including fuel for his car and other many expenses. All her five children including my dad too until the business crashed. So it’s normal when you start a new business, you don’t eat from the profit for at least 6months. If at all you are eating the profit it shouldn’t be so much. I understand them both, the man was magnifying the business gain in his mind thinking that house expenses cannot finish the profit dey play. Nothing eats up money like home expenses especially when kids are involved.

The man feels robbed and is frustrated by the failure of his first business and is now scapegoating his wife. 80% of all new businesses fail even in good economies, it might be higher in Nigeria where there are no stats. I took my family off from my building construction when i quickly discovered the habit of unseriousness and high demand of products money. As someone who managed shops for my late mum, i know exactly what the wife did. It’s never regarded as stealing 😂but it is. During daily sales we do something called partial remittance. So then when you make sales 150k in a day, you only write 120k as daily sales and have to do right it in a book, it’s might not be much but because it’s a daily act it will later emerge into something big. The mistake she made was to renovate her father’s house with those personal savings from the business instead of giving her husband since they were in a bad financial state. She should have used it for something that would benefit the family.

The only mistake the woman made was she didn't use her discretion and put the spending on check. Now that money has finished, the man blames her.

Wife, family members this is who they are, only few will do the business well. Mr man don't transfer the anger of your collapsed business to your wife. It's clear you don't know about business very well, because your supposed to know that you don't leave your business like that until it's well established and flourishing. You didn't marry her under duress. Nigeria is not Dubai, so you must adjust to Nigeria system of managing life, and not ending up in beer parlour.
