To every black person who has undergone trauma as a child, baby work hard & take yourself to therapy. Relieve your childhood and heal yourselves. Take yourself to every place you wished as a child. Because we make the mistake of looking for healing in other broken people , and re-traumatize the child & adult in us. All the best to this beautiful lady

You absolutely explained why she made the decisions she made. Coming from a video that criticised her actions as an adult only to hear what happened to her at 16 shows how as society we are quick to judge people on their decisions and actions. I somehow feel the host was insensitive when he chuckled and asked her to repeat about the knife. I wish she was interviewed by The CentTwinz for that part or another show hosted by a woman. It’s hard to listen further. May she find healing.

I just wanted to hug her !

@@katlego5077indeed she will heal. You should also check when they started it as the guests relating their experiences without an interviewer. You get to hear mostly what you typed above. Childhood trauma is actually dangerous because it changes how you perceive yourself. It allowed other people to warp her perception of herself and make her feel ugly. She's a beautiful woman who didn't have a place to belong and from what I hear never felt at home with anyone. I can't blame her because as humans we all desire companionship and human company.

One big lesson that I drew from this was that when you pray for a big change, or for God to give you something you want so badly (like how she and her Pastors weee praying for her to get married), the devil listens too. And that vele he has nothing else to attack us with except to distract us with our past. This guy was a guy from her past, God probably had or was about to bring someone else, but the devil blocked her sight with this one. So, after asking God to give you something, I think we should also pray for a spirit to decern which answer came from Him (God). ❤

She appears to have had a good relationship with her father, she does not mention being abused by her father, her trauma is from the rape and created by her mother who beat her up after she had been raped, let us agree mothers can also cause wounds which can lead to daughters to search for love in wrong relationships. The parental wounds cause lasting damage unless a person goes for therapy and is connected to God as a source of healing and restoration. In this case, the spousal wound and trauma are another layer that needs to be addressed. Much healing my sister, ngikhala nawe, however our redeemer lives to take away all that you have gone through. I just don't understand, why would someone treat another person like this. Someone who loves him dearly, someone who has given him nothing but love and had gone all out for him. This guy is so unfair. Using the word unfair to him is such an understatement, he has done so much to hurt this woman. That guy knows in his heart that this woman did not deserve all the treatment he gave her. This is such a wonderful woman with a wonderful character. Decent men would love to have a woman of such character as their lifetime partner. All that this guy did is spit in the face of such goodness. Life at times is really wicked and unfair. All that I can say to Ntando is that life was also unfair to Job. Job never understood the unfair difficulties he went through. In all of that, difficult as it was, Job kept his hope in God, to see him through. I pray that despite the difficulties you are going through, I plead with you not to remove God as your hope. In the same manner that God eventually came through for Job, may He come through for you in Jesus name. May God return double fold all that the enemy, the devil has taken away from you.

Well said @Daniel. Thank you. The trauma of People sometimes is exploited by others. This gesture would have been one of love between the couple but unfortunately the man did not have his heart in it instead he viewed it as a jackpot...which is sad. And now if forces women to vow never to do this. I just wonder in this volatile economy is a man that doesn't have money not pursue love? Since there are also vultures among them and there is no way to know. The only think I would love in this kind of arrangement is that both the woman and man do not use this to undermine or disrespect each other...ever. I pray God continues to comfort and heal my sister.

This is so touching! This manifest significantly in churches nowadays. It seems like most ladies in church are desperate for marriage. This serves as strong lessons to all of us.

Some men don't know what they want. They get a power woman, they can't handle her warmth. They dont know what they want.
@lelomm16687 ай бұрын
They know exactly what they want. They want to be a traditional man role...they just don't have the resources- like this man they are talking about. I think women should just spend money on themselves and self-improvement and on their own families ( mother, father, grandparents, nieces, nephews, etc).

Ntando, people do not take advantage of the foolish but the kind and strong. They stole from you thinking they would brake you but if you achieved all that under those circumstances what can you achive when you are free. You are strong beyond words, heal turn your broken heart to God, pour out your sorrows to Him. Remember the to put God first in everything and he will direct your path. I will keep you and all of us in my prayers, your story touched me.

I wish God and the positive energy of the Universe may attract you a kind hearted soul just like you so you would see what joy feels like and a healthy relationship, you really deserve all the good life has to offer. I wonder why some folks when they find good sense of humor souls who happen to be there for them in every edge of life, they just happen to use them with confidence, and indeed UMUHLE SANA YEVAA!!
