The power he can generate from his hips and his explosion is incredible. He plays with so much violence. I also thought it was very creative how you pointed out the QB hits and sack ratio. I never thought of it like that. Very creative coach.

He is an amazing talent. Right there on the Donald and Jones level imo and certainly his agent's. The market has a Watson like outlier in the Donald contract, but a Mahomes type of player instead of a turd type with the best deal. The top of the market is 30 which is pretty far from 22, so the market will be set with the deals for Jones and Wilkins now that they have escaped the tag. Madubuike will likely be 3rd highest paid dt when the dust settles because of the tag leverage. All I can see in the film rn is my guy 6 constantly doing his work because 92 is locked in. The entire free agent market is suspiciously stacked this year though so it will be very interesting to see how it goes.

Those two guys are such success stories, wish we kept them both. Queen will get a chance to test the FA and gauge what other teams have for him.

@all_22_films Probably 20 million per with 60 guaranteed like Roquan got, and it's worth every penny based on the current trends. Linebacker supplies are still low even though the prices are still compared to edge and linemen. Meanwhile, San Francisco and Kansas City are putting up 30 on anyone with any weakness at linebacker on the way to constantly competing for the championship. Defense still wins championships. Nick Bolton and his mates have been every bit as important as the corners and Jones and Mahomes. It takes 10 deep blue chips without any holes to win championships. Letting a blue chip walk is the wrong choice with the cap going to the moon while other than the qb, the other positional markets are declining with supplies catching up like it did to the running backs already.

The zone drops are almost an unfair advantage from a guy with 13 sacks that you can't even assign a single block. Nightmare, I would imagine to prepare for.

Just a devastating coverage and technique, those guys execute it so well. I hope we keep it, really was difficult to get anything done against it. Jeremiah I don't know of a single conversion against it, unless I'm missing something.

@all_22_films It seemed like it was there anytime they needed a big stop. With guards blocking air while a dB is free and everything is doubled is just a dirty devastating technique if you have big guys that can dance in space. Imo the Ravens can't afford to let PQ go and still have the defense to contain Mahomes, although there are a lot of linebackers hitting the market at the same time suspiciously similar to the running backs this year.

Appreciate the off-season content, Coach. How much of an impact do you think this move will have on how early the Ravens go after a DT in the upcoming draft (assuming they draft one)?

That is a great question, had not thought of it that way. Wow. Really makes me think they need to address at least one position of need in FA, but the cap is real, for us at least. Tough question to answer until at least one position is addressed.
