Lots of talent back then, and Tom Jones was right up there at the top. Great voice, great live performer, handsome. We all know the ladies loved him, but we men see him as a man's man, too. Everyone I ever knew loved Tom Jones.

My sister used to clean up after big venues at the cia in wales, i lent her a hand for a night when tom was there, i watched him talking to his after party guests while i swept around and picked up so many pairs of ladies underwear of every size shape and colour that you could imagine, almost filled the bin liner i was dumping them in, and that was the late 90's 😱. Women my mothers age and above were still throwing them at the man thirty odd years after he first seduced them with his voice, all i could think to myself as i binned them and watched him hold court in the vip area was "fair play, that old feller over there, is a pure fckin legend"!! 👏👏😉❤

I remember his show, and wan visiting my grandparents his show was on, and Tom was carrying on. My sweet, devout grandmother sneered at him and said, look at him, he's disgusting! My sister and I were about 9 and 10, and we laughed for years over that., He was obviously extremely talented, but it got a little too much for m as a child when he stared with the. very open shirts, tc. But always a powerhouse talent and consummate entertainer.

I was just 12 yrs old when this show aired here in the U.S. I remember everyone just being glued to the TV as he sang and danced... the women going crazy throwing their personals at him. It was kinda shocking to me... I didn't really understand it all. But I liked his singing... and there were other great performers who also appeared on his show. It was such a different era.

I’ll Never Fall In Love Again is a live performance in 1967 of Tom Jones. It is s vocal masterpiece that can’t be touched. I remember watching him as a kid. If you liked this video, react to Elvis in Vegas singing "Love Me Tender" he comes down off the stage and walks through the audience and kisses half the Ladies in the Audience! Even the Ladies husband's or dates or whomever were shoving the Girlies to get a kiss! It's a fun video! Thanks for this Reaction. 🤗😎🤔

Tom Jones had tremendous stage charisma, which when combined with his voice, looks and moves made him a major sex symbol of the late-1960s - 1970s. His only real rival as that kind of performer was Elvis, and Tom said he took inspiration from Elvis. He and the King actually became close friends -- Elvis gave Tom the nickname, "the Voice."

Our family watched that show every Friday night on black &white tv. It was on just before the horse races. My mother worked at the race track as a waitress. Once in a while we'd see her on tv. She also had the biggest crush on tom jones. We kids just liked the music. It was a fun Friday night. What can I say? We were a lot more simple back then. But tom jones performances still hold up. Now that I'm much older I can see what the women saw in young tom jones.

Wales is the loveliest little land of song, where the men are men and the women are glad of it. We love to sing, even my darling dog Bryn would throw his head back and we would sing our hearts out together. Wales is known for its male voice choirs (try Only Boys Aloud, teenage choir, audtion of Calon Lan on Britain's Got Talent) and also the crowd singing at rugby matches, e.g Welsh anthem v England, 2013- Wales won 30-3 and the anthem played its part. Try also Tom's slightlly older contemporary the diva Shirley Bassey..

This guy was wild when performing live, and he had his own 30 min. TV show, I think weekly. It got to be sold out after he started interacting with the ladies. (front row seats were scarce.) only the most aggressive ladies could score rows 1 or 2 and some from row 2 would power right through row 1 (climbing right over the them! Had ta' get that kiss! It was a pretty popular show. I think this episode was probably the one that started the whole thing I watched pretty often. It wasn't pandemonium every week; but common enough to keep everybody tuned in. I can't remember what year/s it would have been..best guess early 70's Hilarious! Whole house in stitches, laughing.

Tom Jones and Elvis were great friends. They were a lot alike. Tom Jones was knighted by Queen Elizabeth and is now Sir Tom Jones, Up until 2019 (at 80 years old) he was a judge on Britain's The Voice. If you really liked him doing " I'll never fall in love again" go find the youtube video of him turning his chair around for the son of the guy that wrote I'll never fall in love again and react to that as they sing it together. His moves are no longer tireless ( hip replacements) but his voice is as mellow as ever!!!!

For Tom getting down there's also the song "What'd I Say" (from his show "This Is Tom Jones" -- 1969): kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZpOqnZWhn85mmbs You can mash it up with the other wild dance numbers. Another fun show where he was dancing (but later, and a little different type of dance) is from "The Tom Jones Show" (1981). His guest was Brooke Shields, who was about 16, and they did a 1950's-themed song and dance that is hilarious. Tom plays the role of a teenage boy hanging out at the malt shop, admiring a girl who is standing at the jukebox. He wants to dance with her. When he gets the opportunity he shows off (dancing like Elvis). You'll see what happens. The song is "Little Queenie": kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZoXCaHiKdqZ1f7s
