The energy of whatever people say, the groove of favourite worst nightmare, the depth of humbug, the lightheartedness of suck it, the attitude of AM, the eccentricity of Tranquility base. It is really fascinating how they come up with a concept for an album and how they take it so seriously from the lyrics to the aesthetics. I am open for whatever arctic monkeys brings to the table.

If you liked those two, check out "Brest" (no orchestra but a brilliant song). I remember being about 8 years old sat round my nan and grandads and they were laughing at Eldorado because it was so bad. First time I've thought of that since it happened probably! Anyway this song is brilliant.

BY THE WAY! I remember in one of your videos you said something about waving if we got to see you at the tribute show and you’d wave back… I was standing very close to the stage on your left side and always wondered if you got to see me? 🤣 I’m Spanish and I went all the way to LA for the tribute and it was one of the best gigs in my whole life!! Used to like many of the Darkness songs and after seeing you guys live I rediscovered you so I’ll make sure to go and see you in London! Thank you for your work and sharing your knowledge! ♥️♥️♥️

Bridget Samuels was the string arranger! 👍 She did the string arrangement for "Everything that You've Come to Expect" as well...
