I am SO grateful to have discovered your channel and some of the others in your homesteading community. I have a great deal of stress in my life and watching the videos is so relaxing and reminds me of a time in my life of working in the garden and putting up food. With all the hard work, I didn't realize that I would look back on those days as some of the sweetest times in my life! Thank you to the Rhodes family for sharing your lives!

Arun is just a cool dude, man. I subbed to his channel. He's just cool and he's SO FUNNY. It's very common for him to make me laugh at least once in every video he appears in. We're all lucky that he's helping on the farm because he adds his own vibe to the place for sure.

Justin - I had my wisdom teeth pulled and developed blisters also. They hurt worse than the surgery itself. My oral surgeon told me to mix equal parts Kaopectate/Milk of mag/benadryl and swish and spit. I would also hold it on the surgery side for a bit longer. Note: It will make your tongue turn black temporarily for some reason. This will take the pain away immediately!!! And it heals up the sores within a couple days. I"m all for natural meds and only used arnica for pain from surgery. But these sores were the worst!!! Also, mixing the cherry flavor with the mint flavor wasn't bad tasting at all. And honestly even if it was, I wouldn't have cared at all. The relief this gave me was wonderful!!!

My sister put me on comfrey root tea for my jaw and tooth problem. It worked really well. The leaves are for external use only, not internal but from what I read the roots are safe to be made into a tea. Use it like mouthwash if you would like.

It is good for Grandma to be busy, it is great for the lungs after surgery and exercise is good for knees. Just important to know when to stop and apply ice. That goes for you too Justin, slow down and apply ice to the jaw!

I kinda didn't like seeing J.R. do as much lifting and pulling so soon after surgery but was glad that he was able to get up and bout. It was a relief to see Arun there. Considering the type of surgery do you think there are things on the farm that can be made "lighter" (less difficult/more automated)?

It's one of the old tools that modern technology still struggles to rival. Options like laser levels are faster and can be more convenient but the water level works without worry of running out of power, is still very accurate, and unlike most modern tools can work around obstacles as it doesn't require line of sight to work... Not to mention it's low cost and you can make one yourself, and yes, you can improvise just about anything that will contain the water and allow for a flexible tube that lets you see the water level...

So with fever blisters you should cut down the acidic things you put into your body period and that will help I know because I've had them since I was 14 period and I have Lupus and you get those gargling with warm water and salt will help. Also lysine is a great vitamin add to your collection to help with that.
