After the change, it almost became "I will be back" because Schwarzenegger thought it sounded more machine-like without a contraction; he also felt "I'll be back" sounded too feminine. Truly is mind boggling to think that the HT DX-13 was made over 10 years ago and the 3rd party companies still cannot get Arnies likeness as close to that! Also amazing that the DX-13 had rolling eyeballs and so many figures HT produced thereafter don't have that.

I have always preferred the 1st Terminator movie but I always loved the battle-damaged version of the Terminator. I will definitely pick this guy up, he will go in my Terminator shelf. Great review!

Thanks for this review Justin. We have both this and the first t800 that present toys released and you are spot on with your comments. The battle damaged t800 is so superior simply due to the headsculpt and present toys are improving all the time. Cant wait for their next releases

The head sculpt gives me more of a T1 feeling. Both the hair and Arnie's expression remind me more of the first Terminator near the end. It's still extremely well done and the whole ensemble definitely works! Considering the original figure is probably long out of print, though, this is a fantastic alternative.

2:22 The “I Will Be Back” is a reference to Arnold arguing with Cameron over the “I’ll Be Back” Line! Arnold wanted it to be “I Will Be Back” since “I’ll Be Back” didn’t sound robot like. “I’ll I’ll, it just doesn’t sound right! The Terminator would say I Will”. James said “I don’t tell you how to act, so don’t tell me how to direct!”

Just a note justing the box art is meant to be a reflection in the lava, I would have liked the grenades o be plastic as it would have been lighter . Small thing I do have the hot toys one and this one seems like a good option for those who dont have one it comes very close .

I've just started the video and I am excited to see this figure and to hear what you think of this figure. I have more Terminator 1/6 scale figures than anything else. I've spent waaaay more money than I should have when I bought Hot Toys MMS136 T-800 and Hot Toys MMS117, both second hand. I sure do love those two Terminator films.

I have the dx13 it's awesome and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I mean I don't even know how hot toys could possibly improve it. Honestly the likeness of my dx13 still beats the present toys one in my opinion. However, the diecast grenades are a nice touch. I got the dx13 mint in box so I haven't suffered any damaged and I paid $700 cad from another collector. Obviously I'm satisfied with my purchase. I would use this guy for parts though.

Bought this for the purpose of using DX13 spare parts. Needed to apply heat from a hairdryer to remove the sculpt from the neck connector on mine but is definitely compatible with DX13 as now have both BD looks on display in my collection. Looking forward to the other Present Toys releases so can do the same for police shoot out T800.

Hi justin, just to help you out here, its a very thin layer of leather but its pleather, if you look at the inside of the jacket closely you will see hashing on it, this is indicative of pleather. However i used yhe body to make a custom carl and im super happy with him

I have their Max Warrior figure, body and headsculpt are bad but the suit itself is really good, body swap, customised paint job and one aftermarket headsculpt later it's perfect, makes me feel like Present toys are good base figures.

I kinda like the base cuz there’s enough room for the T-1000 & T-800 cuz I have a pose that fits perfectly on the base. What’s the pose you ask? Is when the T-1000 toses the T-800 of into a platform and is going to hit him with the crowbar so they both fit the base perfectly. Tnx for the review cuz I love this figure. I did replace the light up feature cuz it didn’t work well it was to dim so I bought a neck peg to replace the head with a DX13 and now it looks perfect so it can be done.
