It's a great video to see, and then watch the actual video again and you'll appreciate their hard work. Excellent reaction as usual. Thanks for loving my 7 guys💜 Borahae

BTS, short for Bangtan Sonyeondan, means Bulletproof Boy Scouts, that's why their original logo was a bulletproof vest & there's a gunshot at the end of their early mvs, still use Bangtan & Bulletproof in songs & stuff to refer to themselves

Out of the school trilogy A sides N.O. is definitely my favourite, but there are a few B sides that are definitely equal to it. It is the story behind it I love, BTS speaking up for their peers and themselves. And you have to watch the Save Me shooting sketch. The m/v looks an easy shoot, it really wasn't!💜

Dope is the mv that really broke through to the hip-hop/r&b/rap community in the US and West. You started seeing people reacting that had never reacted or listened to a Kpop song - between the production, the rap and the amazing choreo. Btw, when RM (back then he was still Rap Monster -a title he now hates) says Given Up at 3, he means did you quit work at 3 - - 5 -6. Dope was originally called Sick (that's what the song is on the album) but Dope I think works better. Btw, if you wonder why V is wearing a suit with shorts, he's doing a famous Japanese anime character - Detective Conan from Case Closed (about a detective who gets turned into a school kid).

~ oh my, watching all 3 of these videos back to back is definitely a workout for your brain! I love how Save Me was shot in one take ~ amazing! Then N.O. is just awesome ~ it was an early song for BTS and they all look so young… Of these 3, my personal fav is Dope. The song, that amazing choreo (the footwork is impeccable, I usually end up watching Jimin & JHope), and I LOVE to watch their hair bounce around! Their hair is like the 8th member of BTS. JK’s killer smile is also delightful… I think V is supposed to be a detective, but I’ve heard other reactors guess PeeWee Herman too! 😆 (They are all dressed as various occupations)… Great reaction! 💜

Your Comments to BTS ...I love it
@marinal.11 ай бұрын
Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. Yes, it's one take! There are Bangtan Bombs for behind the scenes pls check them out. =0) Suga is very gifted. He is one of a very few fast rappers. Some ppl say he is the Eminem of Korea. But RM can rap dang fast too. Never knew about the reverse order of the notes, and the rappers going in reverse. Very cool. Suga and J-hope are SOPE ME as a unit. We love SOPE!!! They so funny together and sound amazing back to back. =0) The boy meets _ at the end of the Save Me MV was basically a teaser for the future drop of their track "boy meets evil." They used to do this often in their older songs. "Boy meets evil" is a J-hope solo song. It is also an intro to their Wings album. Or should I say The "boy meets-" is actually the concept of the wings album. The full sentence is "boy meets evil". Wings album is based on a book called "Demian." The music video for its is pretty cool. Very deep song. Hobi is very talented. This song got a partner song called I'm Fine. Pls give it a listen too. I love in I'm fine how the choreography matches the lyrics. It's so beautiful. Both songs are bops. I love them and feel very connected to each one. I am a cancer survivor and the songs echo what I said to myself and others while I was battling cancer with chemo. I am in remission for 5 years now but the memories are still there from the trauma of the experience. Jimin gets picked on by the other members of his emotional choreo from this song. It's so funny but also shoot poor Jimin. lol. Them messing with him about this has been going on for years it's a running gag. lol. Hugs. --NY USA 2019 Army💜 Good reaction(N.O.), ty. The names of the albums are cute and catchy for the youth. Their target audience were adolescents. They were not aware that their songs would speak to all ages. I feel like BTS started a conversation with ppl and they have been talking to us for 3 albums straight about the same topic. It's mind boggling but so cool. I hope u liked this. I love this song. It's so catchy. Adore the MV too. BTS always speaks the truth. FYI- U missed the Matrix reference in the MV. N.O. = No Offense. I suggest u check out a explanation video too. U learn a lot about SK. Cheyenne said on 12/2021 Just like a few people already mentioned but bts and their albums basically grew along with the members. As you know, the members were extremely young when they first debuted and most of them were still in school and kids. Their first three albums heavily focused on the school education system, childish innocent teenage love, and struggles that the youth have to go through because the boys have experienced that sort of thing themselves. They wanted to relate and protect the youth. Once you go through more of the albums you'll notice the older they get, the more mature the themes will get and so will the messages. Eva Stokes said on 10/20/22 Actually the first verse is the first verse of Suga's part in the first song "No More Dream" RM says 'What's your dream' then Suga says 'I want a big car, big house big rings' which he goes on to repeat in several songs. As the second song "N.O" was not only a comment on the Korean Educational System like others have commented but on something that RM has also spoken about that was he stopped dreaming when he was in middle school and lived a life for his parents dreams. This song speaks to that loss of dreams during youth. Their parents dream of going to university in Seoul (SKY = Seoul's very famous Universities best in the nation). Just an aside as the stairs are reused in an award ceremony performance so are the hands you see, they were used on a performance of "Fake Love" during an award ceremony. They are masters of using things over and over to remind you that this all flows together be it music, lyrics or even props. I think that is why so many are surprised that BTS spent so much time on sets as opposed to CGI. Sets they can use again and for a group that worked with little to no funds that was important early on. And yes ON is related to NO as it is a call to bring it on that they BTS will continue to buck the system and work hard for their dreams. It is a masterpiece of a song and one of the beginnings of the BTS Universe. Just so you know you have now officially gone down the BU path. Welcome and enjoy. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Good reaction(DOPE), ty. Love this song. Adore the choreo and fits. It's JK singing the high note actually. In the early vids it was Jimin but slowly JK got more of these parts and as u watch more everyone on the vocal line can hit highs'. JK is center so he gets the most lines and has the most stable voice. Jimin has the highest voice but the others are great too. Though on the recording it maybe Jimin who is singing the high, hmm. The more u hear them the more u will get used to their voices. In Dope Jin was a doc. V was Conan the detective from an anime/manga. Jimin was a businessman to me. Here are the lyrics for Dope doolsetbangtan.wordpress.com/?s=dope . Pls check this site for the lyrics they are accurate. As/hleyder/ said on 1/18/21 The Korean word that is translated into "Dope" for the title of this song doesn't really mean "dope" in the way we, as English speakers, would interpret that word. It is a somewhat weak translation that loses a lot of the important double meaning of the Korean word used in my opinion. The word they actually use would be more accurately translated as "sick", a word that has more of a double meaning in English as both something that is really cool ("That's so sick, man!") and also a negative physical experience. The Korean word literally means drenched in sweat or something to that extent (mind you, I am not Korean, I got this from watching a reaction by some older Korean men), but is now used as slang by younger Koreans to mean "awesome". So they are both saying they are really awesome, but they are also saying they are working their butts off. I've noticed in a lot of commentary videos, they often pair Dope and Baepsae together as an example of songs in which they are talking about the struggles of their generation. And the fact that Dope and Baepsae are also the two songs in which they explicitly refer to the "three giving-up generation" and the "five giving-up generation" (in RM's solo) I think that this song while obviously talking about how hard they themselves have worked is also probably a commentary on how hard their generation is having to work. Based on that, I think they are intentionally reflecting various careers to give a nod to all the people who are working really, really hard in their careers while others are out partying. The "we" becomes more collective, then. "Those of us who are working our butts off while everyone else is partying ... we're awesome." So in RM's verse he says (no idea about accuracy of translation, again, not Korean, lol). "Given up on 3? Given up on 5?? I like the number 6. How about giving up on 6?" The older generations in Korea, as well as the Korean media, often refer to millennials as the generation that has given up. It started out as having given up three things, courtship, marriage, and childbirth. Then it advanced to a word that means they'd given up on five things, thereby adding employment and home ownership. Eventually it jumped to seven things when they added that they had given up on relationships and even hope. That's why RM adds in his verse that he'll stop at 6 (after making some weird word play that I don't totally understand that involves beef ...) and then says, "Can I get a little bit of hope?" Basically saying they refuse to give up on everything. Then he calls out the older generations/media for condemning them while they are working so hard and he calls out the millennials for just taking it and tells them to take their energy, they aren't alone, don't give up, take some hope, wake up and go. I've never actually watched an explanation video for Dope, so this is what I've personally pieced together based on explanations I've heard about some of the words/phrases used in the song, so somebody else may know more. But I think people tend to focus on the dancing a lot in this song and disregard the lyrics mostly because there is a lot of meaning lost in translation for this one.

Your next one to include is Fire. I have a live performance of that at an award show that is jaw dropping. And I saw you did a EXO vid, but you should look at Moster then Lotto in that order cause they are sequals. and the dance practice to EXO Monster is crazy. Then we should start getting into BigBang. Before BTS, BigBang were the Kings of Kop before they started going in to the military and then got into some major drama... But BigBang was touring the world, selling out Staple Center in LA which is now the Cryto Arena in DownTown LA where the Lakers Play. As BTS was come up BigBang was going into the military. But Parris Goebel the choreographer that choro Rihanna's half time show did a lot of the choro for BigBang back in the day. And that opens up another artist CL who was in the biggest girl group before BlackPink called 2NE1 and CL had some solo tracks, Parris choro one of her videos.
