It's sad that people will forever underestimate Céline Dion in comparison to Whitney and Mariah, while the three are/were amazing in their prime. Mostly because they don't know Céline career at all, maybe few songs from her English career while her French career is as AMAZING. Céline Dion is just way more than just "My heart will go on". Jenny FrShcj sis stop, the only ones that underestimate Céline are Mariah fans, Céline outsold Mariah and Whitney WITH A REASON..... She's was/is still more known and appreciated than both WORLDWIDE..... Céline outsold and outgrossed them, at the end of the day she'll ALWAYS have more public, search for The Voice Kids/The Voice /music shows on KZbin here, in the european ones they only sing CÉLINE, that's who they grew up listening to....and when it comes to the new generation Céline's OFTEN cited as musical influence by them, it doesn't happen with Whitney and Mariah (Selena, Ariana, Dua Lipa, Zara Larsson, Troye Sivan, Rita Ora, Frank Ocean, Sam Smith, Carly Rae Jepsen, Pia Mia etc, they cite Céline as inspiration, after all these years her influence REMAINS alive)

celiniac all three of them are worldwide megastars. People all over the world sing their songs. Just look at how many people from Asia sings Mariah's songs. And tbh I find that more people tend to cite Whitney and Mariah as their influence than Celine. But both Mariah and Celine have sold over 200 million records and had Whitney released more albums she would have as well.

Songs like vision of love is the reason people like beyonce wanted to sing. Mariah is also the best selling foreign artist in japan and has like 3 of the top 10 best selling albums by a non japanese artist in that country.

The fact that she is one of the vocal trinity, whoever says she's not worth it, should swallow it! Lol The academy and the musicians and producers around the world recognized her. No one can take her off the trinity. Those people who can't take her can't bring her down. She's so versatile and sung a lot of genres in her more than 30 years of milestone. She's a unique and total package performer and she's been recognized more than the others worldwide. She wouldn't be a legendary icon for nothing. That's what many people don't know about Celine. Yes! She is incredibly versatile, definitely worthy to be listed alongside Whitney among the all-time greats. Celine has sung operatically before, in a playful way, but she's got the goods. If living legend tenor Placido Domingo said she can sing opera if she chose that career path, you KNOW she's got the goods. I've heard her do a small snippet of a Rossini mezzo-coloratura aria, tossing off fioritura like it was nothing (you would call it "melisma" in non-operatic singing), with ascending and descending scales and everything in between at lightning speed. In that, she is truly unique among the vocal trinity.
