I think it was repetitive on purpose. It's also one of the songs they didn't actually write themselves. It was supposed to be a happy song to brighten the spirits of ppl during this hard time. It's been doing well on radio and it has mass appeal. I personally like it, but I can see how someone who is used to BTS doing things a certain way may not feel like it fits what you have come to expect and like abt BTS. The thing is tho, they do every genre and have something for everyone. So I look forward to you reacting to them when they drop their album later this year. They are going to be heavily involved in writing and producing on this one. Thanks for reacting!

And as RM put it to USA Today ahead of the song's release, the song really is a product of this time during the coronavirus pandemic. The lyrics are a much-needed burst of joy and invitation to join them, dance, and be a light, even when the world seems a little dark. The group added during their interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music that "Dynamite" is "made of positive vibes, energy, hope, love, the purity, everything. Recording this song was really fun, and like Jin said, we’re going through difficult times so we tried to have more fun working on this song. We made this song in hopes of giving energy to the listeners. We’re glad this song turned out great and hope a lot of our fans can listen to it to receive the positive energy we tried to incorporate in the song."

I didn't think I'd like the song because I too really enjoy just the Korean and pretending I know what I'm saying when I sing along, lol. But I love this song. The happy songs are usually repetitious, Happy by Pharrel was also that way - but I jammed the heck out of that song. They did well, and remember to appreciate how hard they worked on their English for this. Great reaction, new sub :)

Plus they've never done an all-English song before and took it as a challenge and it worked out perfectly for a light and fun summer song meant to cheer people up during these rough times.. BTS obviously would never do an album that's all-English or just forget their roots just to please Americans or whoever.. -_- Like.. do people say the same thing when they sing songs in Japanese? Just 'cause it's not Korean...
