Great video! Awesome price and wonderful camera, really quite amazed at the quality! Has that look a lot of people look for! Thank you for using a tripod, so many hand hold and it does not let the camera focus! How are you converting the tapes over to the computer? I just picked up a Sony hi8 camera, everything works. I got it for $10 usd. The local access tv studio was getting rid of older equipment! Got everything, just had to buy some extra batteries. Thanks for sharing!

Cool that you got a hi8 for 10 bucks. My favourite tape format. For this video, I captured most of the video using the DV out. I used adapters and a FireWire with my iMac. For the part where I recorded the menus, I had to use the AV out so I could capture the menus. Thanks for your comments and keep in touch.
