I have the HX- Z10 and I love its butter smooth highs and bass crunchy lows. it shoots out air through i the ports that i can feel the other side of the room. I just wish it had a bit more bass. thats why I want the next one up, the z30 with its bigger 8inch subs I can only imagine the air that coms out of that! The ports look like a jet blaster. shame, dont think it was ever released over here in UK

oh dude the z30 has easily the most air movement out of any speaker I own haha. it surprisingly has very little port noise as well? I was impressed. does z10 have alot of port noise?

Not that I've ever noticed. the most notable port noise for me comes from the mx gt88 and then the mxgt80.

Personally I think The z3 had the best bass all around Gd8 had best highs and mids Z30 had deep bass

agree for the most part, z3 has the best all around bass, gd8 kinda turns low bass into high bass if that makes sense lol. as for the mids and highs I think z3 has better clarity sounding mids and highs but gd8 is definitely a bit louder

Can you elaborate a little bit on the whole "gd8 kinda turns low bass into high bass" statement? I think I understand what you mean but you should directly compare how the subwoofer lows are different between the gd8 and the Z30 or gt90 or other models, on some common songs like 'bass I love you', and 'white clouds decaf' then give your opinion at the end..as it's very hard to tell the subwoofer lows over KZbin! The 'white clouds decaf' song is a very good test song for these systems because of the audio clarity in the mids and highs and the ridiculously loud and clean subwoofer bass that's in it.
