Really lovely and clear cues for our students. Love the permissive, safe and expansive directives regarding foot placement in bridge, letting the hips go back a bit during locust and engaging strength and ground force when in poses. Thank you.

Absolute game changer for bridge pose! Looking at the feet, feet position, brilliant! Also for camel, it was drilled into me that hips have to be stacked over knees, I am crossing that cue out ❎ thank you, very helpful video 🙏

LOVE your podcast you are both so genuine never do I miss! I am so grateful that I was able to study with from the start of my teaching. Thank you for continuing to share your wisdom and growth. Question: Bridge with block feels more like fish pose to me? am I missing something? when I think bridge with block I think under sacrum .Is it because you are focusing in more strength, or simply finding and feeling that area? Thx for being so real, dar

Amazing insights about bridge. I never realized to make my students sit with bent knees and go on back to bridge :)

I really appreciate this video and the tips you shared!! I’m really curious if when you teach the supine backbend with block support under the scapulas if then an additional block could be placed under the back of the head as another optional support? Thank you! I plan to use some of these in my classes

Not related to backbends but you should know i teach "our Jason Crandalls" every class - an old core move with block from an old YJ. Inhale- squeeze block, lift the toes - oh yeah, baby. No one better for foundational or advanced yoga movement.

Jason, one question. In the newer anjaneyasana, how do we ensure too much load is not transferred to the back knee? Thank you!

This can be tricky. If it's uncomfortable on the back knee you can pad it. If that's not enough, you might need to split the difference in pelvic position between the old-school and new-school versions!
