As a young boy, I could not get enough of watching someone hand fly a model airplane; still love to watch them fly. After over 30 years of flying General Aviation airplanes, building and flying Experimental Amateur Built airplanes, and having worked on aircraft for many years, I must say that your project is THE finest work (of aircraft art) that I've ever seen - bar none! Your engineering skills are to be envied, no question about it. I'm going to watch it again, and learn more. N6395T

This is the most amazing build ever. Nothing short of fantastic. My father was a tool & die maker before any CNC and I can really appreciate the close tolerances this took. This guy is an artist.

Yak 130 on first place was built by a huge team and a nearly unlimited financial backgrlund. But you made ALL by yourself, even the turbine!!! You are the real master, unbelievable!!! I feel like a beginner with my planes. Dom from Switzerland. (maybe you remember me, we emailed about turbine construction)

There is just one word to discribe the amount of detail and craftmanship that went into this: EPIC! I've also seen the film of the YAK130 model that I believe took 1st place in JWM2013. But those guys had acces to the complete plans and backup of the YAK factory and even more advanced production methods (full CAD design and CNC machining etc) To see this model and the result thusfar with the limited resources and handmachining you had Gerald. I can only say: Petje af man! Zoals al eerder gezegd, ik wou dat je m'n buurman was, dan stond ik voortdurend over je schouder mee te kijken!
