Makes sense. Whenever I used to take monohydrate I had major stomach issues. At one point I thought I'd developed IBS. Since using HCL I've been fine. Thanks for the great info as usual Doc!

Hey Jim! Quick question about the insulin spike that you get pre-workout for enhanced creatine HCl uptake. Say for example that I'm in a very low carb portion of a diet targeted for fat burning and I need to produce a pre-workout insulin spike. Is there a high enough leucine content in a serving of Pre-JYM to get an insulin release? I ask because in another video you advised taking slow digesting carbs with a whey/casein blend on top of creatine and things of the like. In contrast, you spoke about getting fast digesting carbs (dextrose) pre workout within this video. Thanks.

Hey Doc! LOVE pre jym. look forward to using post! but i was slightly confused by this vid. are you saying that to get the full affect from the pre we need to take it with protein as well? or only the post needs to be taken with protein? thanks!

Dr. Stoppani. I am 54 years old and have take creatine HCL before. I know it’s great for muscle mass as well as brain function. I have a difficult time drinking lots of water. I’ve been told that when Taking creatine that you need to drink lots of water. If I don’t drink lots of water and take creatine, will this affect my kidneys. Thank you for your response.

I think Monohydrate is just as good as HCL Creatine it just takes longer to absorb so don't take Monohydratge around workout period. Allow it to digest for several hours first like having it with breakfast in the morning.

Hey Jim, I have a question about buying your supplements. I am a hug fan of pre-jym and have gone through about 6 bottles of it now. It is by far my favorite nutritional supplement to help fill in the gaps of my diet but with only 20 servings I fill like I am getting hit pretty hard on the shipping fees. I also want to try post-jym but I have the same issue. Is their anyway I can get your products into my local supplement store? Or if not, do you have plans to make packages with additional servings? Thanks!

Hey jim, I know you are saying the proper way to take creatine is pre and post work out with protein and carbs. But your other video said if you are trying to focus on fat burning to take just whey protein pre workout, just wondering if you can clarify that for me. As in the best route to go. Thank you

Hi, i want to thank you for all you content which are very useful and appropriate. I want to know that can creatine either mono or HCL can be taken with milk? and what carbs i can add in the shake?

Have you ever had anyone mention that this has lowered their blood pressure or caused blurry vision? Definitely thinking of going to half a dose, but was curious if anyone else has experienced this? This was only my first time trying it and I'll try it a few more times to get a better idea about how it will affect me.

Suggestion for your products: Can they all be in packet form rather than scoop form so I don't have to take the time to scale all my scoops for the proper doses? (Pre, Post, and Pro Jym?)

I eat one meal a day in the morning (2000 to 2500 calories) so I can't take Creatine pre- or post-. Creatine needs to be taken with food if for no other reason than without food your stomach will ache with 5 grams.
@St3fanND9610 жыл бұрын
Jym can you clear something up for me? I heard that creatine shouldn't be taken with caffeine because caffeine takes water out of your muscle cells and creatine creates water retention so they cancel each other out. Your pre-workouts have both.. Is it okay to creatine and caffeine simultaneously?

I typically mix my creatine mono 5G pre in mts clash or with whatever pre I take and then post with Gatorade. 10G daily
@Vaximore10 жыл бұрын
You only need 3-5g of creatine a day, 10G a day is far too much, even for monohydrate.

Is honey a good simple carb to take with creatine?
@Mister_B_10 жыл бұрын
Yeah, honey is a simple carb along with fruit, candy, and those found in some dairy products. Some creatine now includes stuff like fenugreek, which is a natural plant product that spikes your insulin without having to eat a bunch of carbs.
