If anyone is interested, she had what’s called a shoulder dystocia during her labour for the doctor to climb and do a manoeuvre to get the baby out! It’s a scary situation and you only have like 4-7 minutes to get the baby out! Wow! Props to her for being so courageous! Diabetes is such a scary disease for me!!

Dang ! Thanks for the info!
@everythingonce98263 жыл бұрын
If you are right and it was a shoulder dystocia: What the doctor did could have made it worse! If it was a real shoulder dystocia, you have to do the mc Roberts maneuver (moving the women’s legs up to open the pelvis and change the pelvic angle) or to release the shoulder otherwise with your hands (Rubin or wood maneuver) Just pressing on a belly - if the shoulder is stuck - can cause serious damage to baby.

3:10 If anyone's curious about the rH negative comment, here it is. rH+/- refers to the proteins in your blood type. Such as O+ vs O-, or AB+ etc. Positive means you have those proteins, negative means you don't. If a mother is rH negative, and the father is positive, then the baby may be positive. This becomes a problem during the second pregnancy, as during the first birth, the bloods may interact between the baby and the mother. This causes the mother to form an immune response against the newly introduced protein (rH) from the child. So when a second baby comes who is positive, the mothers body will attack the baby, and could cause miscarriages. Luckily we have medication for this now, but it still makes the process more difficult.

I love how her husband is so in sync with what's happening in their lives and supports as and much as its needed without having to depend on his wife or as her what needs to be done. I am saying this as in asian culture you will find the males doing their bit of thing and women predominantly doing childcare and meals. The stereotypes are so strong that many women struggle with additional responsibilities of working and caring for the house and kids as well while the husband says he had a hard day at work and cools off with pals. Ofcourse not all households are same and we have good and supportive husbands as well but I have seen men be disapproving if their wife's don't cook as much or don't know to cook. It's sad as I feel there has to be some form of gender equality with regards to home duties and childcare.

Why wouldnt she? Many people have multiple health issues like Celiac, diabetes, Crohn's, etc.(at least in the U.S.) and they get it under control with diet, exercise and meds. I like Korean language. I grew up learning two languages at school also. This post is not about questioning the English education system of the tutor or South Korea English teachers. Perhaps, it could be a friendly reminder. South Korea and English languages have different Syllabication rules. South Korea Syllabication Rules are not applicable to English language. English language Syllabication Rules are also not applicable to South Korea language. There are both two different sets of Syllabication Rules and Objectives. However, I think there is a meaningful purpose for the existing English Syllabication rules in South Korea. The purpose is that it is design to help the students easily learn English using Korean learning way. Hence, If communication is understood, then the existing English education system in South Korea has achieved its objectives.
