The Fixed One: "I am the voice of the Knight Industries Two Thousands microprocessor, K.I.T.T for an easy referrence and KITT if you prefer." And The Prototype One: "I am the Knight Automated Roving Robot, KARR if you prefer, I Am The Prototype Of The Car Of The Future." Okay that's it, it's more than enough to make it clear that KITT is the fixed one, just because the prototype one has just programmed only for the self-preservation purpose, not for protecting human life purpose as the primary programming purpose (for the fixed one) and of course, for the F.L.A.G's primary purposes.

I have to admit the elite version of KITT looks really good... but the tires look like a giant tractor! That’s the only flaw that I found in the car. However, KARR looks amazing in every detail... even the front bumper looks exactly like the original episode. The standard version of hot wheels KITT fixed the tires. I don’t know why hot wheels did that outrageous wheels in the elite version 😐
