But the fire isn’t there like it was during that time I’m born in 1985 and my earliest memory of basketball is the 1990 finals between the Pistons and the Lakers and watching the league from then to now. The game is just soft. They call it soft too. I think the NBA needs to bring hand checking back…AT LEAST.

@@lucianotecuanapa9853 wouldn’t of mattered, those Lakers had nothing to offer the Pistons in terms of an actual threat of winning 4 times in 7 games. Shaq was good but the Pistons deployed strategies to limit him and gain TO’s off the Lakers feeding him. Kobe had absolutely nothing to offer, he was clamped up. I’d argue the 04 Pistons would of beat any version of the Kobe/Shaq Lakers. Best defense in NBA history and maybe sports history
