K&N Performance Air Filter Test on my SF Subaru Forester (Better or Worse?🤔)

I have an 06 Fozz with a series 80 Toyota snorkel plumbed into my OEM airbox with a late 90's Legacy intake to the throttle body. All OEM intake plumbing under the hood without any resonator. I can send pics if you want, it should be bolt in for a SF

Well so far, the fuel consumption is pretty great, but it was a lot of highway

NGK LaserLine plugs if still running LNG and a PCV replacement to finish out this tuneup.

Just gotta not over-oil, clean the maf sensor every so often, and figure out how to slap a snorkel on there

Yup, heard about not over oiling it! Snorkel is definitely not on the program for this Foz though 😂

J'avais jamais fait gaffe qu'il y a un aussi gros résonateur sur les Atmo 😱 Je pense que pour que son retrait soit bénéfique, il aurait fallu boucher sa sortie, tout en arrivant à limiter l'éffet manchon (le plus simple mais onéreux, c'est de mettre une nouvelle durite en silicone). Tu aurais gagné des watt en haut régime, mais perdu en couple. 😓Là, ça te fait une double entrée (dont une proche du bloc donc chaude), ça explique surement ce ressenti! En tout cas, les K&N sont toujours un bon investissement sur un véhicule axé route qu'on compte garder, comme tu dis, ça se rentabilise vite! 😁👍

I used k&n on my s turbo but I switched to pipercross which is cheaper and better in my opinion

Never use K&N on a turbo

Not a good idea, Project Farm did a very good test of different air filters and K & N gives you a little better air thus a little more power but it lets much more dirt thru so offroad it sucks, check out Project Farms test and you will see why its a bad idea!!!!

I watched pretty much all K&N air filter videos on YT before buying it 😂 this Foz doesn't go offroad so I don't think it will be a problem

Did yow watch Project Farms Test of all brands of air filters he is a an engineer and dose scientific testing and it is amazing watch all his stuff, he test welders, epoxies, winches, JB weld, Anti freeze, Motor oil, Chain Saws, electric drills, vice grips, screw drivers, you name it he dose it in very controlled scientific and fun way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @@ALNSMOVERLAND
