@@skillbopster That's one thing but I kinda understanda why tho, music promo period is usually very packed and busy for artists since they're always moving around from event to event while also joining programs and shooting stuff in between most of the time, not to mention, they also have a child at home, so I get why he couldn't spare some time to visit the company and check the finances himself. And this case is actually not uncommon, artists get scammed all the time, the worst case is probably Lee Seunggi's case where he was lied to by his agency for more than 20+ years, they stole his profit and told him it happened because he is a minus singer, that his fans only listen to his songs but won't buy his CD. If Im not mistaken, korea is proposing a law for artists to be able to check their own profit rn, since the process to check is not usually available for artists, it's part of the contract for them to not question how profits work, they've been calling it the Lee Seunggi Crisis Prevention Act if Im not mistaken. I bet there are a lot of artists/idols that were scammed still but haven't figured it out yet..

The people that he trusted most backstabbed him. Honestly, even if they gave Tiger JK and Tasha a bigger percentage of the profits, they likely would've never noticed, but their greediness ruined them.

For park yoochun case, drug use is not that bad since law shouldnt handle drug users by putting them in jail instead rehab is the best effective way to cure them. But the sa ,taxes scandals and law suit against new company one after another were what made him not able to come back to the entertainment industry and most fans left him. Its so sad and scary at the same time cuz he was the first idol actor to get so many acting awards and praised alot for his acting skills he was the most successful actor/idol at that time most director want him for their series and all of his kdrama are so so popular at the same time he was touring as jyj member, singing ost for his dramas and getting loads of money. Not to mention he was the most popular and loved member since he was in dbsk/tvxq and even after he left the group he was still the most loved idol actor then in a year or 2 everything went downhill scandals after scandals to the point of leaving the industry.
