I am looking forward to test it. Today I should receive my air assist nozzle and air pump. What flow rate is your pump ensuring? Mine's should be theoretically 70l/min.

great trick thanks for sharing ill try it later. by the way what type of air assist machine are you using?
@Checkitfirst Жыл бұрын
My wife has asthma. I took one of her old albuterol machines. I guess it is basically just a very large aquarium pump on steroids.

Can you share link for the laser head and air assist that being used..tq

I just got a k40 and am waiting on a pump and air assist nozzle. Is the air so precisely aimed that it is able to blow through that tiny hole without blowing the tape away too?
@Checkitfirst2 жыл бұрын
On mine it’s OK. I guess you would have to really adjust it and make sure you are not producing so much air pressure that it blows it off. I’m doing this because my pump is small and doesn’t produce enough air to go through the big opening on the nozzle.

@@Checkitfirst Last question and I swear I won't bother you anymore. Your nozzles works well. I would like to order one. What brand is it and where did you order it from?

@@Checkitfirst I'm using the stock k40 head mirror holder (the silver one) and a Cloudray blue lens holder with the air assist like yours. Do you have any trouble with air leaking past the lens and coming out the mirror hole? I'm wondering if ther's a way to make the lens holder air tight so the air only comes out the air assist nozzle.

Got it figured out. Turns out some bozo burned a hole in the air line up stream ...duh... ok, back to see what else I can mess up :P

How often would you change the blue tape?!
@Checkitfirst Жыл бұрын
Often. The hole in the tape will widen from the radiant heat given off from the laser. But typically I’ll replace it with a new one every time I go to use it.

Hey dude whud up? What model is that and is that the thickest material it will cut?
@Checkitfirst2 жыл бұрын
Hey man how’s it going. Long time no hear, ha ha. It’s A k40 laser. CO2 laser. The material I just cut in this video is about its max thickness. But you can cut lots of different things.

@@Checkitfirst ya been to long!! Been busy up here lol I would like to get a little cutter like that but first I think I would get more use out of a 3d printer so probably go that first but both are on the list! Do you have a 3d printer as well?

Hi. how powerful is your compressor?
@Checkitfirst Жыл бұрын
I just use an air pump there is no compressor tank. Compressors with tanks Have a tendency to produce moisture. Air pumps will never have a condensation problem.

@@Checkitfirst I see. the effect is great! what model of pump do you have? what power? I'm at the design stage. I don't have a blower at all in my k40.
