Amazing video!! I am trying to do my set up but I was told I could put my 06 faucet part (the one you have in the video) where the dishwasher air gap part is. I was told I just have to remove that piece. Would it be the exact same set up as show in this video? Minus the extra filters I don’t have that I just have the k8 only. I have a Berkey filter, can I used my Berkey with Kangen machine 🤔?

I’m not familiar with Berkey filters. Is it a prefilter (before the machine) or the filter for inside the machine? I 100% would only use Enagic filters and Enagic EE inside your Enagic machine. You don’t want to take a chance of voiding the warranty.

Thank you, that’s very helpful. However, is there anything you can tell me about how to do it where my dishwasher vent is located please? I cannot drill another hole, but still need the dishwasher and it flows water there when there’s a clog, so that’s my only concern.

If you still use the dishwasher than you need to keep that vent. I recommend an additional hole or get a new main faucet that only requires one hole as there are typically 3 holes already drilled for a standard faucet. You can put the custom faucet in on of those holes.

Some pullout faucets can work but most nowadays have plastic fittings and are not compatible. If you can get the center aerator out of the middle of the faucet you can connect it with the adapter that came with the machine. Otherwise the simple and best way to do it is drilling a hole and set it up the way I have in this video.

Yes and Bone Char. It really depends on your ZIP Code and the water in your area. Those are the three zoned for my specific city.

I order all my client’s pre-filters through www.ionfaucet.com . You can get a 1 to 4 stage pre-filter system depending on your local water source. It will not replace the filter inside the Kangen machine but add extra filtration that the basic Enagic filter does not take out 👌😁

How big should I make the home for the custom faucet?

It would depend on the custom faucet that you are purchasing. Most kitchen faucets have three holes under the main faucet plate. If you remove that you might be able to get a new main faucet and use one of the holes for the custom ionizer faucet. However the hole is probably a standard size like for a dishwasher or kitchen faucet hole.

Sugatrice You would need to get a brass T and flex tubing to connect it from the main water supply up to the drinking faucet. I would suggest getting the 04 faucet from www.ionfaucet.com and it will come with everything you need.

@@josecollazos6 Hi Jose! The machine is an ionizer, not a filter. It does have a chlorine filter in the machine but depending on your areas water... the water can be full of Lye, fluoride, heavy metals, etc. So I run an area test for my clients and give recommendations on additional filtration. Not required, but certainly recommend 😉

Hi! How would I connect this exact same three stage filter from ion faucet, with the K8, but to the direct kitchen faucet (not a custom faucet)... my kitchen faucet is a pull down kitchen faucet. Under the sink the faucet has a long hose... Your video is super informative, thank you. But I’m having trouble figuring out how I would connect the filter system to the main kitchen faucet... and the K8 of course. Right now my K8 is connected directly to the tap with the metal diverter.
