How can anybody be this good. A contemplative, sensitive and fluid voice which expresses NOT lyrics, but poetic rhythms, with pauses where one would expect pauses--- if the person singing felt the depths of the experiences. And, it's clear (because Musgraves wrote or co-wrote all the tracks on this album) Kacey knows the emotions, she lived them! She has a humility, a grateful kindness,, and honestly doesn't know how beautiful she is! Which makes her more beautiful! "I know my place, it ain't with you. Sunsets fade, and love does too. We had our day in the sun when a horse wants to run. Ain't no sense in building a gate......you can have your space...." This is real, this is sad. These words run true for all of us. And Kacey sings for all of us.

For anyone who wants to play this on guitar, here's how :) Capo 1st Fret Strum Patterns: 1) ↓ (for the beginning and any other mellow parts) 2) ↓ ↓↑↓↑ (for when it picks up; most of the song) C, Am, Em, F These chords repeat with those strum patterns for about the first 2/3 of the song, then when the bridge hits the key changes! You will switch to these chords with the same strum pattern: D, Bm, F#m, G Hope this helps out! If you get stuck or need a little extra help, I just uploaded a video lesson for this on my channel :)
