I really do think that Red deserved this award, but I'm glad that Kacey won it. Same Trailer Different Park was an absolutely beautiful and amazing album, and I don't even think she's at her biggest yet. Another thing, Taylor is definitely still country. I hate how they played I Knew You Were Trouble. It made her seem like she's not country anymore. If you actually listened to the album, you'd know that she's still country. It makes no sense as to why they'd use that song instead of Red, which did really good on the country charts, and is still charting.

To me, Red sounds a lot more like a country album than it does a pop album. Tbh, the only songs in Red that sound more pop than country to me are the albums big singles 22, I Knew You Were Trouble, and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (coincidentally those were the songs that pop record producer Max Martin helped make). The only non-single I can think of that sounds more pop than country is Starlight.
