Cristalize counts as a reaction, so the new sup set actually be the bis option, it wil give team elemental damage increasw to geo and whatever it reactions with.

Pneuma ousia was still useful in some scenarios. For example when Coupellius was in Abyss and you have no pyro characters, you can use ousia to get rid of his shield, 3 ousia hits and you can end his special phase early

Wouldn’t say useless I say more underused. I felt like they could’ve done more if there was more Fontaine charcters that way it be quicker to disable mecha’s. Pretty much pneuma gimick wouldve been useful against the spinning rock enemys, mechas and all devouring narwhal.

But you have to have two things in mind 1: the shield dmg is deal every 5 seconds 2: Dendro doesn't synergies with geo, so no shards will be created for kachina unless you are fighting slimes or mages Sadly, I don't think any shielder fits her perfectly atm ☹️. But I will test her with Diona, bcos of the element application + shield + healing.

As long as her skill isn't easily breakable by enemies (like daddy Zhong's pillar or albedo's elevator), she will be heaven paired with Chiori. (Leaks incoming regarding 5.0 artifact sets). Since the new Embered City's hero set gives 40% all dmg to all teammates when the wearer causes a reaction while in the night soul state (which kachina will be in) and geo isn't an element that can linger on an opponent, she will easily trigger crystallize as soon as any of the PHEC elements are on the opponent, this means that her presence on the team gives 40% all damage (not just the element it reacted with like petra) as long as you have the set equipped and have at least one PHEC character in the team. A new craftable spear will also be released alongside her in 5.0, which gives 83,73% DEF at R5, which will probably be really good for her (unless her burst costs too much, in which case favonius is probably BIS). All in all, Kachina is the character i am the most hyped for in 5.0, with them being the only character able to use the Embered City's hero set effectively.

@@EnochBuyer Most likely, as Kachina has off field damage, which triggers crystallize from off field and gives Navia a 40% dmg bonus due to the Embered City's Hero set. Kachina could thus potentially be best in slot for Navia, so something like Furina, Navia, Kachina, Bennet/Xianyun could be extremely strong. Lets just hope that Hoyo doesn't make Kachina's own off field dmg bad.

Her best build: - functions: buff / shield support or sub DPS (or both) - weapon: Footprint of the rainbow (new craftable polarm) - artifact: Scroll of the hero of Cinder City (new artifact set with DEF% Geo DMG and CRIT) - teams: --- Navia and Kachina + Xiangling and Bennett (or Furina and Sigweinne) --- Itto mono geo teams (or F2P alternatives with Noelle and Ningguang for newbies) --- Flex slot on any team that can use element dmg buff and shield (not anemo, of course). So Neuvillette, Lyney, Clorinde, Arlecchino, Furina teams can all work. Is she best in slot? Depends who else you have... She is free. So... QoL features: - She regains Phlogiston energy when interacts with over world collectables (which she can map you in Natlan) - She can climb with her skill (like Kirara just for longer) - Her twirly counts as a Geo construct and is virtually undistructable - Her C1 makes her auto collect crystallise shards when mounts Twirly (Her C4 and C6 are also good but... C1 is best) If used as a pure support, you can build her as an artidact bot (no leveling up or anything)

Kachina might not be a free character at all as we're already getting an Event Catalyst (it's not from fishing). We did get a free regional character at the start of Sumeru & Fontaine, but we never got any free Inazuma character in 2.0. We can also transform into some pets for exploration (as seen in 4.7 Livestream), so there's really no incentive for them to give us a free Natlan character just for the sake of exploration. There's also a new polearm & artifact set. Polearm gives you TONS of DEF while the new set gives 45% dmg bonus to the whole team if equipped by Natlan characters.

Kachina will probably be a free character like Collei and Lynette where there not tied any limited time event and can be gotten for free by either reaching a specific AR or by completeing a specific floor of the Abyss. The event we got in 4.0 gave us a free Bennett and we still got that free Lynette for hitting somewhere around AR 20.

How is crystalize shield not a shield? How is getting multiple copies of a four star character viable in any shape or form in GI? She will propably use a new artifact set from Natlan. Do you know anything about the game you talk about?

Probably meant kit shield like zhongli’s or noelle’s. Most people won’t even bat an eye on a 4 star unless it is at least c2 or c6 for veterans. Just basic game common sense.

An artifact set releasing alongside her is supportive too but requires the equipper (who can be off field) to trigger the reaction. For kachina, she has an advantage as geo (like anemo) can only typically be the trigger of a reaction, the aura can’t just sit on an enemy unless it’s part of their design. So I think they’re going primarily for a decent AoE subdps/ elemental applicator with some supportive capability - 20% def and something like a 40-50% dmg bonus I believe. On top of the whole nightsoul synergy for other Natlan characters

Golden Troupe will probably be her 2nd or 3rd best artifact set, and contribute a lot to her personal dmg, but... (Leaks incoming) One of the two new sets rumored to be released in 5.0 is the "Scroll of the Embered City's Hero" set, which has the following effects: 2pc: When a nearby party member triggers a nightsoul burst, the equipping character regenerates 6 energy. 4pc: All teammates gain 40% all dmg bonus for 20 seconds whenever the wearer causes an elemental reaction involving their own elemental type while in the night soul's blessing state. This set seems to fit Kachina perfectly if you intend to use her as a sub dps/support, since the 2pc will probably help a lot with energy regeneration, and the 4pc gives a buff comparable to VV to the whole team. So while Golden troupe probably gives her more personal damage, the new set will give the team an overall higher damage increase.

Well, she is, this video is missing a lot of crucial information for Kachina, Natlan's new artifact set means that she can basically buff all of the team's elemental damage by 45% and there is also a new craftable weapon in Natlan that gives def%, she can help Navia by generating crystallize shards off-field and in an aoe, in addition her drill counts as a construct so she is great with Chiori too, she will be a good buff for basically all geo (and some no-geo) teams in the game.
