In my opinion, we can't really come to a conclusion until we confirm whether both HI3 and genshin share the same world tree. If yes then they do share the same sea of quanta. Or maybe the abyss itself is the sea of quanta for the genshin universe.

teyvat exists in one of the bubble universes on the imaginary tree. As far as we know, there is currently only one imaginary tree. Also, seeing as how Otto apocalypse viewed teyvat in honkai, I'd say it's very safe to say that their universes are on the same tree.

To understand these concepts, I would recommend to study at least 2 things first: 1) Kabbalah which this game is mainly based on. For example, what is Tree Of Life, how it works, and how God transforms the reality through the elements of it. 2) Honkai Impact 3d lore, because a lot of these concepts are there as well, like Imaginary Tree (Order) and Sea Of Quanta (Chaos). And there's a bunch of channels on YT that explain it in details. So far it looks like you've only scratched the surface ;)

I think it has something to do with his latent potential to tap into abyssal energy? Maybe he’s one of their descendants or more like them than other humans?

@@lorraineviruet8973 Yeah cause it makes no sense. He was an ``ordinary kid`` who loved ice fishing with his dad. But in one of the world quests there is a note about Ajax and how reincarnations exist in this world So Childe is more than likely his reincarnation.

In Skirk's case, it's allegedly because Childe woke up the All-Devouring Narwhal when he fell into the Abyss, thereby getting her attention.

4:55 Skirk is native to Teyvat - she says she came from there and hasn't been back. 9:40 Khaenri'ah is not in the Abyss - as Sibling says in the Chasm Dainsleif quest memory flashback On the matter of symmetry of the 3 realms when you get away from Enkanomiya it is the Void and Human realm that seem to be in parity / opposite polarity. The Light realm is the odd one out. This presumably results from the original planet only having a Light realm. If that isn't true then a number of issues arise that break the symmetry: * why doesn't the PO attack whoever rules the Void realm when he attacks the seven sovereigns? * if the Void realm is a threat why wouldn't the victorious PO remove that threat? * why do we have no fauna or flora native to the Void realm to match elemental beings? * why does Nibelung think energy from the Void realm (FK) will be more powerful if it's in parity with the Light realm? * why doesn't he seem to know much about the Void realm such as how FK will only drive him insane? * after the war with the 2nd throne (when I would say the Void realm is created) Celestia has to constantly fight against it's incursions. But never a Light realm incursion? * in the Chasm it's Void vs Human realm and no Light realm to be seen Also there's a lot of symmetry between Void and Human realms: * the Void realm energy is said to come from beyond Teyvat - just as Celestial energy does * the Void realm energy has a "will" and overpowers elemental energy easily - just as Celestial energy does * when Void and Human realm energy (ie Abyssal and Celestial energy) meet, they mutually annihilate. * Just like Abyss corrupts light realm, so does Celestia energy (eg Neuvillette is born as a human and the Vishaps are contaminated in Enkanomiya) * Just as you can get to other worlds through the Void realm you can through the Human realm - which is why Alice patrols the borders If the Void realm is natural to the planet then why does Neuvillette see it as a bigger threat than Celestia, his age old enemy?

I think you’re mistaken! Skirk is not native to Teyvat, she never said she’s from there. All she said was that she doesn’t wish to return to the surface. Doesn’t indicate she’s from there, she could be talking about anything else. Her design indicates she’s not from this world, if you compare it to other genshin characters she doesn’t look the same. Various people say she gives off Honkai vibes. I think you should consider watching Skirk introduction video again, you’re a skipper of dialogue aren’t you.

I don't know anything about this game at all. Sure that's completely obvious from the size of the reply I typed in for example. No- you got me. I don't even play this game. Gosh did I say anything that tracked? I was just making up random nonsense. @@davidjohnson8273 You are correct. She states this: "I've been training with my master since I was young and have never RETURNED to the surface since." That is stating canonically that she is from Teyvat (we have no confirmation that the abyss is a hub (as this video claims), to other places. Though if the abyss is outter space or the sea of qunta, thats not impossible) but nothings confirmed. And this video lays it out as if it were true and canon facts. Anyway, she then states that she no longer wishes to come back (to the surface). Personally... I don't blame her. Evert time he said in this video that she was not from Teyvat, I was confused because she stated that she was. As for her clothes.... She's been in the abyss since she was very young. I seriously doubt they are going to make a clothing run to Teyvat, when they are in a place outside of it. Its not like anyone in the abyss would need to fit in with people from, Teyvat - which would be the only reason why they'd go out of their way to go get clothes from there. With that in mind: making their own clothes would fit better. And they could make them to look however they wanted. Also, not saying Dain is connected to Skirk - however he also doesn't have the look of someone from Teyvat. Bottom line, you are correct @davidjohnson8273, nothing states she ISN'T from Teyvat. She states that she's been away for a long time and doesn't wish to return. That indicates she's from Teyvat and dislikes the place for some reason.

I think the abyss is definitely related to black holes & the rest of the universe. Black holes have their own laws how time & space exists, kinda like the chasm archon quest explained how time & space is twisted. When our party escaped the chasm, it turned out be darkness where light cannnot escape aka like a black hole traps light itself

Correction: Not everyone who's not from Teyvet is called a descender. They are outlanders. What makes them descenders is the will they have, whether they can make or break the world's fate.

The promotional video called Story Preview, which was released when the game was released, mentions "Teryvat Chapter". Honkai Impact 3rd Part 1.5 story took place outside of Earth. Part 2 is going to take place in Mars. So, Genshin Impact's ending story just would be the ending of Teyvat Chapter!

I think the abyss would be part of the sea of quanta from hi3 from what we seen do far and the drops from childe’s whale boss the Lightless Eye of the Maelstrom which looks exactly like the logo for quantum in hi3rd

As i remember in the game, Khaenri'ah isn't all part of the Abyss Order. Those who're part of the Order are those who followed Chlothar Alberich. Not everyone in Khaenri'ah supports or likes the Abyss Order.

from what i know all hoyo games are connected in some way at least the ones i know of for sure goes from GGZ all the way to Genshin impact. and from what i understand ggz/honkai impact are the foundation and genshin is a world/realm within the honkai universe. and honkai star rail is another universe, since himeko is dead in HI3 but another version of her lives in star rail as well as bronya, seele, loucha, sushang, silverwolf, soon to be added Acheron expect welt since he is the same welt from HI3

I just wanted to say that descender is no longer someone who came into teyvat and now the title of descender means that someone is strong enough to rival an entire world and it does raise the question of fatui were aware of that when they were learning about beings they call descenders or were they just giving them to beings they know came from outside of teyvat

Yo genshin gamer please read this. Neuvillete said something that "After the great war of vengeance, the usurper king had their functions ruined so inorder to take back control over teyvat, the primordial one AND the one who came after created the gnoses together". This quote confuses most KZbinrs and viewers. Because Neuvillete said THE PRIMORDIAL ONE AND THE ONE WHO CAME AFTER, people thought it was the second who came and the primordial one who killed the 3rd descender and used his body for the gnoses. But that's not true, hoyoverse is trying to confuse us more. What Neuvillete meant was that the war of vengeance was between the dragon king Nibelung and the primordial one. Making Nibelung the second who came. Now that the primordial one has lost control of teyvat, the primordial one AND the one who came After, the one who came after is the 3rd descender not the second descender. Why would the dragon king work together with his enemies to relinquish full authority over teyvat, seems stupid to me. If you one again look over Neuvillete same voice line on this matter, there is no Full Stop in his quotes. Just look into it 😅 sorry for the long comment.

The idea that the abyss is below us and that what we see is a fake sky. Makes it seem that abyss is closer to being space. As for what actually is above us and where the traveler is from, we have no idea. But according to the traveler, they have traveled a lot of worlds. Meaning that either they came through the abyss or the light also has worlds. But that would make the fake sky sound strange. Since then, it would be two skies and not a fake and real one.
