Not really a cream person, I wear glasses all the time and I’ve just never figured out how to make it work. I'm a cream lover and wear glasses 24/7 too. I just dont concentrate a lot of products on my nose and powder where I know my glasses sit. My glasses dont hit my cheeks so I dont have that problem. And if I did put more product on my nose and my glasses moves it , it dont really matter since you cant tell until my glasses are off. I have dry skin and cream products sit better on it than powder so I'm more willing to deal with the cream and glasses situation:)

I absolutely never thought I'd be a cream person. But I'm so thankful that my skin is pretty decent nowadays 🙌 so bring on the creams! They just wear through the day so much prettier, in my opinion. Powder becomes patchy on me.

Have you ever tried Daniel Sandler watercolors? They are AH-mazing for that "natural" born this way cheek color!! Just enough glow, and they melt beautifully into the skin😊 I love cream makeup... I'm the same with finishing my eye makeup after mascara. I tend to do the majority of my eyeshadow and a base of liner then a coat of mascara then touch up my eyeshadow and add more of my liner with a flick so that it blends in with my lashes better and then another coat of mascara.

Loved this video! What a beautiful look. You have had me eyeing the salt new york palette for quite some time now, and I am ready to bite the bullet! Forgive me if you mentioned this in a previous video, but I notice that your palette holds 8 of the squares. On the Salt New York website it appears that the large palette only holds 6. Is your palette special or is it actually possible for me to squeeze 8 in one palette? I am having a hard time picking just 6, but would love to have all the colors I want in one palette! Girl....I was hella like “ummmm....” with the D bronzi and not feeling it but of course, like always you make it look like total normalcy and gorgeousness by the end. I sooo hope Kiki G puts out contour shades for deeper tones since she seems to understand what they’re actually supposed to look like. Getting sooo impatient for my order. Lastly, after swatching some powder bush samples from Pure Anada earlier this evening, I am declaring that I’m over powder blushes. Creams just look sooooo naturally gorgeous that powders no longer excite me. Oh and love that you referenced Bjork...was listening to her Homogenic album earlier this week. 🙂

I wasn’t a cream product woman until about a year ago. I got a few lipsticks from a brand called Necromancy Cosmetica (vegan, green, handcrafted) and one of them was this nude café-au-lait colour that looked like absolute death on my lips, so I started using it on my cheeks when I wanted to do an “editorial” bare face and red lips look to give me a bit of life. I’ve never looked back. Now it is a problem. I really want to get my hands on the Salt NY stuff, it looks so pretty (although I much prefer she prioritises safety over profits). Prayer circle customs doesn’t slam me with fees!

The storm cloud paint is especially translucent (as is Dawn) and made to be accommodating for deeper skin tones (less ashy). So yes to that, but also, just for matching purposes which is what I think you’re asking, the storm ESPECIALLY would be amazing on olive skin. It’s very brick-y on its own. Is that helpful? 😂

About the Tower 28 bronzino, they also started to send me the wrong shade. I too ordered West Coast and they were going to send me Best Coast. He said it was apparently a site glitch. I caught it before it shipped and called them and they cancelled the original order and re-ordered west coast and gave me expedited shipping for free so I actually got it before I would have gotten the original order. Def reach out and be pushy!! Don’t let them do nothing. 😉

Long time creeper, first time commenter here- I’m having a maybe not-so-unique struggle and would really appreciate any insight you may have to offer. I’m moving to AZ soon and I’ve been spending my quarantine time trying to figure out how to start wearing a more legit daily sunscreen under my makeup. I’ve found that I prefer chemical sunscreen > mineral but I look like a total greaseball even after giving it time to set. I was thinking I need to try to find a powder foundation to try to combat this- but I’ve never been much of a powder person having normal-dry post-accutane skin. I am a long time lover of cream products but will they play with a powder foundation (particularly Salt New York)? How do you balance inevitable sunscreen shine, the need for longevity in a hot climate and the desire for a low-key, light coverage, natural base so damn well?? Only logical explanation: you are a witch.

Sarah H if you like natural makeup I would try Alima Pure loose powder foundation over the greasy sunscreen! Also it contains zinc oxide which will provide even more spf!

Long time AZ resident here! Unseen Sunscreen by Supergoop! is my go-to. I use it as my last step in my skincare regimen every morning, then I go eat breakfast and do whatever around the house (quarantine life). After that, I apply my makeup as usual. I've been a die-hard SPF junkie since about 15 years old, and of ALL the products I've tried, Unseen is the most friendly with makeup and doesn't leave me greasy at all. Not sure where you're coming from, but if you're headed to AZ soon, get ready for the HEAT! Remember the 3 S's: Sunscreen, Shade, Sunglasses

Thank you!! LOL I *am* a witch, but that's not why. I have ultra-ultra dry skin. My face and neck soak up anything I use. BUT if you're looking for a lightweight chemical sunscreen that really works, the Purito Green Level unscented is SO GOOD. It's not greasy AT ALL. And I don't know much about powder foundations, but I will tell you the Salt New York pigments work great over powder when applied with a sponge! They're super lightweight. Thanks for commenting!!

Pregnancy just takes it out of ya. Idk how ya do it, I know I wouldnt of had the energy to film and all that. I couldnt even shower without taking nap immediately afterwards still wrapped in my towel lol it would wipe me out. It's crazy how we go from high energy able to do it all and only sleep 5 hours a night to being prego and cant even shower without a nap.
