Only a very very small percentage of South Indians are doing this , rest of them use toxic nonstick pans with toxic teflon coating or toxic aluminium vessels and cookers... Yes you echo my mind , whole of my india must have cooked like this once .. Now it's just plastic cooking There's huge taste difference between iron tava dosa and nonstick pan dosa ...keep aside health differences I'm from South India too , I agree in dressing we are much more conservative than the north , in traditions too... I'm afraid that slowly it's changing.

Love thd way she does the chutney. The secret to this delicious chutney is the hand full of love with so much positive energy and vibrations while grinding using pestle and mortar. Using mixer grinder will never give use the same results.

Every southern state has their own version of it...Kadhambam is a Tamil word meaning a mixture or a melange of items, Kadhamba poo will have several types of flowers tied together...Kadhamba sambar/poriyal will have several types of vegetables in them.

A really sophisticated but yet a beautiful and traditional method of making the Indian chutney in our old Indian homes. Really nostalgic video. The typical ancient kitchen of India. The fresh green mint leaves from the kitchen garden is really an easy pick for the housewife. No worries of gas bills. The earthern pot and the stone motar play an big instrument in enhancing the taste and enlightening our taste buds. Above all the scenery in the end and the background music of Kandukonden Kandukoden by A R Rahman gives a 10 out of 10 rating.
