My dream car as a child of the 1970’s. Thank you Niels for this quick peek design review! I still recall lusting after the 1:24 scale red and black Tamiya plastic model kit on the shelf of my local Toys-R-Us toy store, until I saved my grass mowing money to buy it. After assembling and making it the star of my collection (until I discovered 60’s and 70’s Le Mans race cars) I would often pick up and study the styling details. My favorite angle being from the front quarter and favorite detail, among many, the retracting headlight and amber reflector treatment. I preferred the more rounded/softer yet svelte Pininfarina 512 styling to the edgier flatter wedge of the Countach and other Bertone designs of the day. Don’t get me wrong, as I do appreciate Bertone designs, especially the Stratos. Cheers!

Thank you, Sir, for another great presentation! And congrats to your new studio and showroom! BTW, this gold colour of the Ferrari 512 BB is marvellous! ( Reminds me of Mercedes´ "Rauchsilber metallic" ("smoke silver"?), which I always took as gold and not as silver, and which I really like). Maybe you could make a "walk-through" video where you give a short overview of your current cars, you´ve got there?

Ja, ik zag ze staan daar in Uden. Fijne toko :) De Koenig is mij net even te, bijna karikaturaal eigenlijk. De mooie ranke lijnen van de BB zijn kwijtgeraakt maar het is inderdaad een kind van z'n tijd.

The 512BB cost $100K in early 80’s in the US. Countach was around $115K and the 308 GTS almost $40K.

It’s a horizontally opposed 12. Not a V12. Also, you can’t do a design review without also talking about the interior.
