Aesthetics. No doubt, something that would enrapture someone else, wouldn't appeal to you. There's a lot of overlap in what people appreciate, though it can appear like it is, art isn't universal or objective. It's personal. It helps me not to look down on other people's tastes. If I dig deep, and really inspect why I like a thing, the source of the appreciation is outside of my choosing. Some people have places to be, as well. Even if the music was heavenly, there's not always time for indulgences. Assuming some people didn't share your taste for the music though, embrace that. People not sharing your taste for music, is as much a part of the beauty of diversity, as those who would. That's something that people pushing DEI could afford to remember. I know your question was probably rhetorical. But, I felt like answering. This is how I jam, and it's not for everyone.

Some street artists make up to $200 a day doing this (and its all profit) they spit it with no one... or that and a lot of them are feeding a habit. trust me this guy gets offers. some actually play in bands and symphonies too and just love rocking out in the street. I lived in NYC for 10 years and asked a few of them and this was their stories basically.
