For the future, you may want to start naming all of your things differently. An example being; Farm-Flax, Farm-Hemp, Stockpile-Wheat, etc. Reason being, is when you have a lot of things later on in your game it'll be much easier for you to find all of your Farms when they're all brought up alphabetically

Kage, I feel like you've not figured out yet that food consumption can be controlled. There are 3 slots and only the 1st slot has a timer. So, the way to eat food is to have the longest duration food that you have consistent access to (I use the 8hr meat stew) in the first slot. Then, use the other 2 slots for hard to get big buff foods. Their duration doesn't matter. As long as you keep the first slot refreshed they never expire. So, I use fish stew and cloud berries for their buffs. As long as you always remember to keep the first slot refreshed you'll never have to eat anything else. Great content and thank you for sharing!

Great to see you implimenting some of the changes! As others have noted here, you're not out of the woods by just not attacking the camps, the threat level is going to increase regardless. Getting rid of the camps helps to push the starting points of raids further away, as well as get rid of the roaming bandit squads that come form them. Each bandit kill also gets you some renown, which in turn adds up and adds another person to your team. And again as others mentioned here, you can also set a few villagers as guards, which lowers raid frequency. The game will continue to push you into confrontation regardless if you want it or not really, so it's best to just be proactive and reap as much of the benefits of the fights as you can. Also important to make sure all of your guys that you do plan to take into combat have the right gear for their stats. Maybe you did a jump cut, but it kinda looked like you pulled them direct off of their jobs and straight off to fight without equipping them properly or making sure they ha enough decent food. Worked out this time, but might not alsways do so. Personally I don't like to mix my main production people in with my fighter group if I can help it, and so I keep them either on guard duty, or doing some non-critical tasks so if I do lose them, my village lives on. My main village is primarily made up of farmers, crafters, and researchers. I use outposts around the map to do my mining, wood cutting, etc. I disable those tasks in my main camp as to keep them more focused on specific jobs and have the materials brought in via daily deliveries, or me travel sign-ing in a pinch. This also has the beneficial side effect of having lower tier and less frequent raids as it makes each settlement overall smaller, usually only 1-2 people each. To automate food going to them, you can always have a small smount of a crop food, such as potatos, etc. sent to the outposts to eat each day too. I personally hope you keep forging a path forward and don't disable the raids. Without them, I feel like the game loses a lot of it's tension and struggle, along with any real motivation to keep improving your villager combat abilities beyond village liberations. The bandits, as annoying as they may be, add to the stakes of the game and in my opinion really should be seen more as a driving froce than a hinderance. God knows I'd be bored as hell wtithout having them around to push me to get better.

as long as you let your minions heal fully between combat encounters, you won't lose them permanently. if you don't want to lay waste to bandit camps, you can sniper the bandits prowling about and steal their stuff. most importantly, keep your Research Table busy on projects. thresh the wheat and make Thatch which you need later for T-2 stuff

You only need to kill 65,340,285 boars. It would only take you 7 weeks, 5 days, 13 hours and 20 minutes.
@SeregonRonin7 ай бұрын
I believe that the harvesting skill being higher causes the amount of items that you pick off of things that you hunt to gradually be higher and higher. That's why sometimes you see a deer drop four hides instead of dropping one or two. So you may not actually have to kill that many boars LOL😁

My harvest skill is level 10 and I get 2 wolves teeth a pop and I get tusks off every boar sometimes 2 I've gotten 5 fangs off one wolf so grind that skill

It is nice that you can adjust the raid frequency and intensity. I have only turned raids off now that I have liberated some villages so I can sometimes get a raid and a recapture party at the same time which is annoying. Eliminating some of the smaller bandit camps close to your settlement will mean that the raids come from camps further away which can give more time to prepare. The river and bridges are highly patrolled so it is handy to put a travel sign south of Blackridgepool to avoid them.

about the trophies If you don’t see it in the crafting table means you have to research it first. There’s only one research called trophy which will give you the option to build all 3 in the crafting table i think you need to have a Trapper hut

If you don't take the gold on that quest, you end up getting 250 more renown, 2 old coins, and 2 journeyman books btw. I guess these quests have hidden rewards for picking the good guy option

If im not mistaken, if your storage fills up you will have loot piles dropped either in the fields or in front of storage areas. But im not 100% sure on that.

FYI, "camp already cleared" means there are no patrols out that are associated with that camp. If there was a patrol, it would let you claim it so they cannot come back and repopulate it later.

Hey @kage848 3 quick things. 1. Could you show us the skill tree or upgrade path if you have already, haven't watch all the videos so may have missed it. 2. Is there not guard towers or fences you can put up to help defend your camp? And 3. Would it be worth getting one or 2 new people and just having them follow you on your travel to level up fighting bandits and such? That way you can fight the bandits and when the raid come in you have better fighters defend your camp? Thanks for the videos. Enjoying them.
@nealtibbs5857 ай бұрын
raids go up regardless and they keep getting harder as it progresses. Think you got the wrong idea about clearing the camps. whole point is so bandits wont roam near your settlement, and when you get raided they come from the closest camp

Food is used left to right. Use cheap food (smoked mushrooms) in the first slot, then 2 good foods that raise both health and stamina for the other two slots. As the first food gets low, eat another mushroom. Never need another stew, just need to have 1000 smoked mushrooms. You can hotkey the smoked mushroom and just keep 3 or 4 always on you.

Why not make groups for the fighters? 1 group for melee and 1 for archers. And let them loot for you, just pin out the flag on a body...do the same when they have to eat, just pin the groups to the food.
