I started playing bass the very next day after seeing Primus at Lollapalooza 1993 in Houston. Dropped $2k on a rig and yamaha 4 string, was in a band within a week, began writing music on bass and guitar and learned to sing, have played hundreds of times in front of large crowds the since 1998, and have enjoyed it more than anything in my life. Thank you Les Claypool, you bastard! :)

The way Les orchestrates the sound so perfectly and controls the crowd with his bass is God like. I cant say there’s anyone better than him at his craft.
