Equipments
-Camera: Fuji X -T3
Finnish Blueberry Cream Tart or Mustikkapiirakka Recipe
CRUST:
12 TBSP or 170 grams unsalted butter, softened
172 cup / 125 grams sugar
1 large egg ( room temperature )
1 1/2 cup or 375 grams flour
1 tsp baking powder
FILLING:
Fresh blueberries
180g creme fraiche
180g sour cream
1 large egg
4 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees ( 185 ° )
Grease you pie plate
Make the crust:
Cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy and light yellow
Mix the egg, then stir in the flour and baking powder until mixed.
Turn the dough which should be malleable , but mostly in a ball, into your greased pan and use your hands to push it into an even layer across the bottom and up the sides of the pan.
Bake the ( empty ) crust for 10 minutes and remove to the counter to cool slightly.
While the crust bakes whisk together the creme fraiche , egg , sugar, vanilla and salt.
The filling will be thin, pourable consistency.
Spread the blueberries across the pan caked crust and carefully pour the cream fraiche filling over and around the berries until crust is filled evenly.
Return to the over and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the edges are golden brown
Remove from the oven, and cool at room temperature.
Serve with vanilla ice cream , or vanilla sauce.
Enjoy!

With all whats going on in the world right now, it is so refreshing to watch your videos & zone out as if nothing bad is going on :) Yes time to bring Autumn into the home. I have had decorating done & have chosen lighter but warm colours for soft furnishings. That Blueberry pie looks soooo delicious! Yes its time for hearty stews & soups lol I batch cook & store in freezer for busy days or unexpected visitors. The risotto .. well I was almost dribbling..lol I dont have a partner anymore so live alone but enjoy my own company, my son is adult & hardly home, so I usually spend my late afternoons cooking, tidying/cleaning as well as looking after the rescue cats. Night time I am usually watching documentaries, or listening to an audible book.. I love being read to lol it often sends me to sleep :)

We've had an unbelievably warm start to our Fall with highs of 28C. My Autumn coziness has to wait a little while. I love to bring out a puzzle, listen to some jazz or crooners from the 50's and drink a decaf latte or drinking chocolate. Or we like to project Amazing Race onto our living room wall (no tv) and watch during the cool evenings. Chocolate usually makes a presence somewhere, somehow. I switch out my pillows for seasonal ones and start the parade of soup making for the Autumn & Winter. I LOVE soup! Candles or essential oils also perfume our home to keep touches of coziness wafting. I really enjoyed this video. They are just so good!

I too love autumn. Love the warm days and cooler nights, leaves changing colour on the trees, long walks and cooking more hardier meals and lighting the candles. You are so lucky to have an enclosed balcony, mine is open and I have a few more days to enjoy sitting out having a tea and relaxing, then won’t be able to use it. We had such a very hot summer and almost too hot most days to even sit and have breakfast out there. So this weather is delightful. Looking forward to your next video and meals you cook. I too read more in the cool weather for some reason.

Hello, your receipes looked so delicious, definitely interested in trying to make them. Enjoyed the ferns in your nature walk and the soft glow off all your lighting, especially the round lantern on the floor that has a handle. Such a pleasant decorative touch. Here in USA the weather has finally begun to cool off and got out light jackets. The leaves are falling in some places and lots of people have started putting gourds and pumpkins on display. Anche io amo l'autunno, qui le temperature si sono abbassate di parecchio, così anche io ho preparato la casa autunnale con rami di foglie colorati e zucche. Your pie crust is really uncooked at the bottom. You need to cover it while in the oven so the sides don't burn and cook it longer 😊

This is more like a tart, instead of a pie base as you might expect in a traditional blueberry pie crust. It’s more like a shortbread, buttery and flaky sturdy foundation.

(je suppose que c'est ça ? et je constate que tu as plusieurs types de cafetières et que tu as plusieurs façons différentes de préparer du café. J'aimerais en savoir plus sur ce sujet car cela m'intéresse et m'intrigue et je ne connais aucune de ces méthodes. Pourrais-tu faire une vidéo spéciale sur le café et sur tes différentes manières de préparer le café et expliquer ? Par exemple, j'aimerais savoir pourquoi tu mets ton café sur une balance lorsque tu fais couler l'eau ? Etc.... Penses-tu que ce serait possible pour toi de faire ça ? et d'y mettre toutes les références de toutes tes cafetières différentes et accessoires qui vont avec car je vois que tu extrêmement bien équipée ! She was likely running around with her child all day during the summer. All moms took the first week of September to catch their breath- bc the kids return to school and we return to our routines. It’s not paid work- but it is real work. 🙌
