Your advice on intermittent fasting is absolutely correct. I am doing intermittent fasting since last five years. I am 68 years old pediatrician. I am in good health with implementation of intermittent fasting .

Myself too Following a fasting window of 15-16 hrs since last 7 years and reaping its benifits. For the larger benefit of people, below are the bullet points of this video. • Inflammation is the Hidden Danger behind any cardio-metabolic health issues. • Prevention is the key and that can be done with right knowledge. • Intermittent Fasting is therapeutic. • Focus should be on Anti-Inflammatory Diet. And this can be done with the right knowledge of inflammatory food. Sugar is a killer, toxic, and that’s how it creates Glucotoxicity through AGEs. • Inflammatory Foods to avoid - Sugar, refined sugar, sugary products, processed foods, and tobacco, alcohol, Smoking • Hydration is the key. Body is 70% water; Blood is 90% water. • Restful Sleep on most days (7-8 hrs) is medicine. • Carb & sugar restricted - low carb - ketogenic diet is a good strategy to overcome chronic obesity, one of the major contributor of Inflammation. • Protecting GUT health is the key.

I have one query regarding intermittent fasting often suggested by you. I am diabetic and on insulin and oral medication. I have undergone two cardiac procedures. PTCA to LCX two years ago and then CABG in which LIMA to LAD was performed. Is intermittent fasting suitable for me also ?

I used to have. Start your day with a warm glass of water with half a spoon of triphala churn powder, haldi, ghee. No acidity. No tea

But media could not pick up the real thing, which in this video Dr. Mahesh is emphasizing. its the fasting protocol. fasting induce autophagy. and yes, one definitely need to avoid sugar and grains ( the source of Glucose), to beat any chronic disease including cancer. sugar/glucose feed cancer cell, and they grow faster in the presence of glucose.
