Parenting - Time Ins over Time Outs | Correcting and Discipline for Negative Behavior

Today we are talking all about time ins and why they are a much for effective parenting technique than time outs. I learned all about time ins in my trauma parenting training. They work really well when our adopted daughter is struggling.

im not a parent, but looking into fostering in a few years (im late 20s) and im remembering whther or not my mom did some of the things you talk about doing. my dad never did i dont think. so there's so much for me to think about especially with trauma background kids. i had somewhat a tumultuous childhood, so this is going to be quite a learnng experiece for me. but i've felt called to adopt (or recently learned: probably to foster) since i was early 20s. so thanks for your podcast
