Quick, well conceived climax. Wonderful acting by every one, including the little debutant., Of course, the magnificent Savitri tops them all. Expressions matching the moment of the scene comes so naturally to her. A moving scene overall. Have watched it dozens of times, with the gripping interest remaining fully in tact. Incomparable.

Research on Screenplays - Director A. Bhimsingh Screenplay - a review! I had finished at a situation yesterday. I will continue from there today. '' Kalathur Kannamma ''! The film was released in 1960. I have written about a scene from the film in an earlier thread. Director A. Bheemsingh's screenplays and his working skills are unique that young Film Directors of today can emulate. Director A. Bhimsingh has been very strict in not wasting the time and money of his producers and the time of the Actors and Actresses. film Fans know that his films generally feature famous Actors and Actresses. But Film Fans don't get to know how many challenges the Directors have to take while making a film, when shooting the scenes. Some important scenes require most of the characters to participate in the same scene. Then only one actor would have said that he will be coming to the shooting scene a little bit late. The Director cannot keep others wasting their time for one's late coming. Then you have to show the ability to place the 'shot'. The 'lighting' arrangement change for each and every shot. The Director decides to place the character stand or sit down at the end of the Actors who says 'I'm coming late', and the camera angle is placed there as he views. The Film Fans will feel like the character is looking out at others. After the actor arrives, he moves the camera, brings it to the opposite side, makes the actor stand or sit towards the camera and speak the dialogue, takes 'reactions', shoots the scene and ends the shootting of the schedule..
