This 20 minutes is all about building muscular definition and leaning out our total body!! We are doing that with supersets! Supersets are great for hypertrophy training!
We have a no-repeat structure and 10 supersets to work through today and the only thing you will need are your dumbbells! We are also training through several compound exercises to work both the upper and lower body!
20-MINUTE FULL BODY WORKOUT STRUCTURE AND EXERCISES
EQUIPMENT NEEDED
- DUMBBELLS- Dumbbell weight is relative to you, each exercise, and what allows you to keep good form! I used a range from 10lbs to 25lbs / 4.5 to 11.3kg When selecting a weight for this workout, you want to lift moderately heavy, at a moderate pace, to initiate hypertrophy- muscular definition!!!

- ROTATING ROW | NARROW ROW
- ROTATIONAL KICKSTAND ROMANIAN DEADLIFT | SWITCH SIDES
- STANDING CHEST FLYS | PUSHUPS
- STAGGERED SQUAT | SWITCH
- OPEN AND CLOSE SHOULDER PRESS |SNOW ANGEL
- STATIONARY LUNGE | SWITCH SIDES *MOD LOW LATERAL TO REAR LEG LIFT
- HALF ISO-HOLD BICEP CURL | SWITCH SIDES
- SIDE-LYING TRICEP PUSHUPS | SWITCH SIDES
- SIDE PLANK WITH ROW TO THE TOP AND HIP DROP | SWITCH SIDES

With this workout, I put on my wrist weights and used my dumbells as well. Being strong in, mind, body and soul, has always been very important to me my entire life. My mom had this goal too and we would get up at 5am, to get outside and power walk real fast for 45 mins. Then, we would workout with our dumbells. It's my favorite memory. My mom passed in her late 80s, 9 years ago.❤❤

Loved your perspective on procrastination. So true!!! I had a bunch of other little time wasters I could have done before this workout, but instead, I jumped right in. It was over before I knew it. A great start to my day. I'm sure my biceps will be hootin and hollerin tomorrow.

Here in my country pregnant ladies are taught to be completely helpless. We're told not bend or lift anything, and to eat for two 😄 we get everything done for us .. I even thought that carrying anything heavy even the laundry basket would push the baby down out of my tummy😂..

Great burn! For triceps push-ups I use a heavy weight and tuck one foot under the bar and the other foot tucked into the corner of the bell! Lol kinda weird description, I’ll send a pic on insta for clarity! Also always lift barefoot (except on an days) so not sure how well it would work with sneakers but worth a try!

Thanks alot for this workout. Also I wanted to ask that after upper body workout and stretching I feel a little pain in some areas what can I be doing wrong? The workout or the stretching??

I have no tips on controlling those crazy legs during the side plank hip drops, but I will say this: that move tends to hurt my hip bone, so I put one of my daughter’s squishmallows underneath! (Don’t tell her.) 😅
