Heart attack should change your lifestyle. I have to give him more credit because my dad in his 60s had a quintuple bypass surgery and instead of eating better ate worse. Processed foods galore, and sadly died at age 76 years. I miss my dad even though he drove me nuts at times.

My father went at age 68. Several heart attacks, diabetes and high bp…does he change anything that whole time?? Nope lol. Him and an uncle that passed a few weeks ago (they were life long friends) did life how they wanted to the end, with all of the long list of issues and ailments that came with it. when i was in prison (2014 for the first time) we had protein powders by Animal. it was 44g protein and 22g carbs (a meal replacement, actually) and cost $1.80. we also had everything else Kali mentioned. something else people don’t realize if you haven’t been to prison - many people will give you their extra food because they have enough commissary anyways and would rather have their own food. i was frequently eating the food at chow and i’d often have 5-8 milks and up to 10 slices of bread with it along with a ton of veggies (big surprise, many inmates don’t eat veggies). it was easy to get big in prison

If you can't get all your protein which is needed for your training plan then supplements can give that extra amount needed without overeating.. I'd say that you should be concerned about the sweeteners in them as sweeteners destroy stomach fauna.

he is wise. everything he says is true. all supplements and protein powders are a scam. Just eat real food but even then to eat is to die. Eat less, spend as little energy as possible to live at your best is the truth . all exercise (unnecessary exertion) and frequent/overeating does is stress the heart out. Putting on excess weight doesnt help either whether fat or muscle it is just a strain and a burden to your health.

Protein powder isn’t necessarily bad but you shouldn’t rely on it. Eat real food. Steak and eggs, chicken, fish, turkey.. that’s the best way to get your protein because it has more calories than protein powder and it puts actual weight in your stomach. I use protein powder simply for protein pancakes which I eat for breakfast. I have found eating real food is the best method for building size and mass

I drink a shake at work when I don’t have time to eat because I’m moving boxes all night so I “supplement” when needed and even then I prefer protein snacks vs powder. I actually make my own protein shakes at home. Whole milk, eggs, peanut butter, banana, and oats. Wayyyy better than protein powder

I'm 52, 6ft even and holding steady and lean at 182-185lbs for the past two years, one to two meals a day, no sugars, 50% protein, 35% fats, 15% carbs. It's all about discipline , figuring out your own blueprint and what (naturally) works best for you. Peace and blessing all.

I’m happy for kali that he’s taking care of his health and is not afraid to transform into a new version of himself. But I think it’s disingenuous to want health and healthy food for yourself and your family, meanwhile opening a cookie shop because it’s a profitable business. I’m sure it will be good in the start but don’t let the money corrupt your vision of what’s right. Its true when he says most women love shredded guys. yes some do love bulked up guys but the majority will find you intimidating to a certain degree. We know he used steroids for years, and he barely concealed the fact that he did. I respect his openness, and you can only truly talk like this when death has stared you in the face because of such a lifestyle. Body building is a sport that carries high risk. I honestly feel as though Kali is being disingenuous or maybe it's ignorance. He can stop eating like a maniac now, because he has already been bodybuilding for most of his life. Plus he has genetics on his side. If the average person decides to eat once a day or fast as frequently as he has been telling people too. they will whither away. The rule still applies that how you eat depends on your goals and your body type. I feel like his heart attack has created the impulse to live a healthy life for him, but his advice is still not well rounded advice, because it only speaks to his situation and those who may be n his situation.

I usually have an omlette with an avacado at 8am and maybe 2 or 3 plates of turkey meat with little rice threw out the day, greetea and water for like 5/6 days and the 7th day I have a cheat meal to shock my metabolism I lift heavy and I spar with whoever I can spar with I'm also on creatine with caffeine and 100mg of DHEA I'm swole at 235lbs

People trashing on protein powder saying its unhealthy are not getting rhe full picture. It depends on which powder you buy there are organic powders out there that are approved by doctors. And yes, they didnt use protein powders thousands of years ago but thats because they were all starving to death and skinny while some of them were lucky with genetics, born with size and strength. Thats the difference.

You def need protein powder if you want to build a lot of muscle. You cannot each enough food to get enough. If you want to cut down and be smaller like Cali got the yea, stop taking protein. His heart attack was from eating the bad food and the steroids abuse. He wasn't doing small or even regular doses.
