Right! The parents who straight up ignore their screaming kids is the worst. Like they're trying to get your attention and you're ignoring them, so they're screaming and everyone else has to deal with it. Pay attention to your kids people!
@HelloXrancidkitteh9 ай бұрын
seriously! yes, kids will be kids, but there is a point where it IS the parents fault for not parenting their kids. I remember when I was a kid and my mom would take me and my 3 siblings out to the store, etc., and she would get compliments from people being all like "your kids are so well behaved!" and yeah, 'cause she parented us to know how to behave in public and we got in trouble if we misbehaved and we learned.
@RacheleKC939 ай бұрын

For the one about kids being kids in public, that’s such a fine line. The clips they shared of their child seemed like perfectly acceptable behavior to me. The kid wasn’t running around crazily or yelling or throwing things, so yeah, if that little bit of noise bothers people, they can get over it. But what some people call “kids being kids” is really “parents not parenting,” which is absolutely not okay.
@gunnybunny40819 ай бұрын
I used to fly 6-8 flights a week for 10 years & on @ least 10% of the flights there were kids being kids. There were 2 occasions that the kids who sat directly behind me kicked my seat so it wasn’t pleasant in fact when I looked back at mom she said he’s just so excited! Then I asked the attendant to ask it to stop who had already told mom twice without my involvement & then I was verbally berated the rest of the flight by the mother for not understanding kids! To never become a mother ect. The other kicker was stopped & only did it maybe once more. While the other child kept kicking or just dug their feet directly into the back of my seat. Some parents don’t understand how their kid acts like act kids being kids.

I'm okay with kids being kids in public...what I'm not okay with is kids acting like @$$holes in public. I am also a parent and I did NOT let my kids act however they wanted in public. And the dog was letting the toddler climb all over him. It was so cute. I got to pet the dog and even give him a hug. If I wasn’t allergic to dogs, I would totally have one. But yes. THANK YOU KRIS for mentioning Mr. Dressup! As a Michigander that lived very close to the Canadian border I watched Mr. Dressup all the time and I loved that show!

I remember my mum said that when i was a baby i used to talk over the pastor in church but when i went to the childrens room thing i would make other kids cry by chasing them around trying to give tham hugs/giving stickers on their faces. I was one hectic baby :)

Tomfoolery is the spice of life! Ah, yes the ADHD reference, the non-parenting parent on the plane (or really any mode of shared transportation), shake it off "I'm okay!!", and the waiting 4 something to happen in the dark, all totally relatable. Thanks for always making my day with your comedic genius.

16:18 back in kindergarden, my best friend and I were terrified of wolves (well, especially me, I kept having recurring nightmares about talking wolves coming to eat me and I would think I was awake until I screamed at the top of my lungs for my mum, which then actually woke me up) and somehow, half in fun, half for real (I think) we thought that there were creepy wolves living in the basement of our kindergarden (it obviously had big locked banisters) and we would look over them and say in like a sing song voice "Fantasy Wolves, come up heeeree, we're not afraid of you" and run away giggling 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

To explain Jay's thing about Mr Rogers' confirmed kills thing, years ago there was a book being written and the author came across another Fred Rogers who was a marine sniper, so when the promotion was being done, the general public assumed it was about the famous Fred Rogers, aka, Mr Rogers, so Marine Fred's record got put onto Mr Rogers, and thus the rumour was born!
