@@adamalday01 Great question, Cons first- It is hard to keep clean. the rotisserie is not very strong, it only does a small chicken. And their are other fryers that offer more useable capacity. The pros this makes an exceptional steak! I pan sear in cast iron and finish in a preheated 500 degree air fryer. That alone is worth it. It really moves the air, and has great convection action, with the fan at the top the top rack cooks everything evenly. Others fryers with the fan on the side are may overcook the items close to it. At the same price I'd buy this one over others. I use a couple times a week. It's very fast and effective.

I have had mines for over 2 years. The reason the time counts down when you turn it on is it doesn't need to preheat. You simply put the food in the oven, hit whatever button/setting you are cooking and it starts cooking at that moment. I never preheated mines and I cook salmon in 6-7 minutes, chicken wings in about 12 minutes and so forth...I never let it run so the sake of running/preheating. I put everything in the cold oven

I just purchased the Emeril LaGasse 26 qt 360 French door, which is probably made by the same company (although a few things are different).. I haven’t searched to see if you have a review of it yet but just the info you shared in this item has helped me. I won’t receive it till Dec 6-9, but the Black Friday cost was $144 with free shipping. Kohl’s actually is a bit lower. I’m 81 and still love to cook for my wing neighbors in my retirement home: we all share.

"It has a bacon tray "A True Southern Gentleman. We southerners must have the ability to have perfect bacon for our day to go well. I enjoy the ability to bake my bacon cause I have better things to do with my time like stirring the grits .Still not the magical machine for me. For the long slow cook foods nothing for me beats my green egg I can use wood chips to change flavors .For defrosting food I throw it in my spa. Thanks for another thumbs up review. Hey, great review. I got this oven recently. Basically what I found is that for every cook setting, you need to lower the temps or time. Otherwise most of the settings tends to over cook a bit.

I got this for $100 with a coupon from Kohl's. For that price, I think it's pretty good, and I don't mind most of the pitfalls. But I would be disappointed if I paid the sticker price for it. Thank you for such a thorough review, I appreciate knowing what to look out for when using it!

Thank you for this excellent review! It's the most honest review that I've seen. As far as I'm concerned all of the hype about the Kalorik Maxx is just a lot of hot air! It doesn't bake evenly, the thermostat isn't accurate and it waste too much time and energy pre-heating. I guess the ads for it or shown late at night because it's not ready for primetime.

Helpful my father bought after seeing their infomercial I kept undercooki g or burning things and thought I was doing something wrong We are stuck with it but this helped and I should be able to use it as an extra knowing needs adjusting and watching

I did cookies and notice them burnt on the bottom. My next batch I put the tray in the middle. Came out perfect. You have to watch what you are cooking and rotate because the back cooks faster. Practice and not putting the tray where they tell you has worked for me. Only had it 2 weeks. I did a steak in it, came out delicious

I have this unit and the problem when he baked the croissants, he put the pan on the bottom of the rack holder and this is just like putting it right on a burner. Need to put baking rack in middle and it works great.

The heat exhausts via the rear. You are supposed to leave 4 inches clearance for that. As for fries, etc, the instructions say to stop the process at half time and turn food items over. One design flaw with this device is that it gets hotter at the back than the front, so at half time you have to also flip stuff from back to front.

For the price I paid getting rotisserie that does other stuff is a great deal and I am sure once you use it a few times and get a feel for it the food will come out better, even standard ovens are all different and 3 ovens over the last 11 years plus ones I have used while traveling have taught me to never trust them haha.

My wife a d i got a Kaloric for Christmas. What you have to watch is the size and thickness of your bacon. It may require you to adjust the temp and time to make your bacon come out as near to perfect as possible. The default temp may be too high.

THIS, IS JUST A QUICK TIP, REGARDING EASE OF CLEANING THE CRUMB TRAY! How come so many people who use toaster ovens and air fryer ovens, don't line their crumb trays with simple tin foil! Totally saves a massive scrubbing headache when it comes to cleaning the crumb tray occassionally. Simply pull the try out, crumple up the foil, through it away, and reline the crumb tray with fresh foil, and reinsert. VOILA! NO MUSS, NO FUSS! I, DO THIS ALL THE TIME! DON'T YOU HATE SCRUBBING AND DON'T YOU HATE THE SMELL OF BURNT/BURNING GREASE/ETC. ON A FILTHY CRUMB TRAY! EXCELLENT REVIEW BTW!

Thanks for the review! This Kalorik oven was the unit I was considering before deciding on the Cosori Wifi Toaster Oven because of the larger interior oven size. I'm one of those people who gets terrible and immediate buyers remorse whenever I make a larger purchase. So far I enjoy my oven but find that I don't use the WiFi as much as I thought I would (fine since it was just an added plus not a deciding factor) and still wonder if I should have bought the Kalorik since I like the French door styling so much more. I also wonder if cleanup would be easier with French doors over the typical pull down style ovens even though the Cosori has a non stick interior finish. You replied to one of my other comments and said you had ordered the Cosori, I was wondering if you had received it yet? I am really looking forward to your thoughts on it. The Amazon Prime Day pricing for the wifi version was $149, I paid a bit more when I got mine but the price was still` alright so it's a decent value. I know it has its flaws as well, the outside gets hot so you have to watch your clearances. They made the oven larger inside but didn't add thicker wall insulation to save counter space? I wonder if that will impact temperature regulation at all when baking with it something I haven't done much of yet. I caught your review of the new larger Ninja toaster oven and although it's significantly more expensive (over $100 more than my oven) I was wondering if the higher price is worth it compared to other ovens on the market. The new Ninja XL Pro wasn't out when I bought the Cosori and the prior smaller version was not even under consideration due to its tiny size but the new oven is impressive and I really like the design, especially how they incorporated the controls into the door handle. I don't like how it's missing a rotisserie but wanted to ask you if it can really do a chicken or roast as well without that function? If you can't tell by this novel sized comment I'm really looking forward to you checking out the Cosori so I can stop wondering if I should have waited/grabbed either of the options I mentioned instead. Your comment was awesome. I'm still deciding and am considering the Cosori. Are you pleased with it? I'm single so don't need "family-size". I'm looking to limit grease and heating up the house. I liked this Kalorik reaches 500 degrees (perfect for steaks) and is large enough for a frozen pizza & probably a chicken (there's a vid on using it w/out rotissarie). My riddle is how to enjoy super hot fries with other foods. Unless I buy a heat lamp, I haven't figured out how to cook two different crispy foods and enjoy both hot vs room temp (yea, I looked at dual air fryers, but they're limited). This issue with the Kalorik doors & the sides of the unit heating up gave me pause on the "buy" button.

What do you think of the Cosori Air fryer Smart Toaster Oven? 32Qt interior size. I've been really enjoying mine although the Wifi I was hoping to use more often I'm not sure I would say getting the wifi version is worth it. The app control is limited to setting time and temp, you need to physically push Start. At least I haven't gotten it yet to more

I bought it for the overall size, 14" width and nice overall depth. The height isn't the tallest but overall it isn't the shortest either. I just got mine on clearance for $123 from the Navy exchange and I love it. I guess there is another Gen 2 model coming out that's all digital with no buttons so it's clearance time. I like the doors on this and the heating, it gets much hotter than other ovens for some reason and cooks faster. You've shown in your video that it's different but I don't think that it's inferior by these comparisons. The fact that a 13" pan won't fit in a 12" oven was kind of silly to show. I think if you hadn't cooked your rolls on the bottom rack like that and they might not have burned the bottoms. I don't use my ovens as big oven substitutes, I use them for fast cooking like they are made to do. I cook fast foods and and I cook small portions. It usually turns out well. Trying to make them do Big Oven tasks is pushing the limit.

The 13" bake pan test is standard and to show by example. I have not used a conventional oven in *many* years. And have cooked effectively for 4 people with countertop cookers, that save on my power bill. (And not used a microwave in over a year.) I have had a Kalorik for over a year. Crappy made (it leaks in the corners, the fake chrome on/off button peeled, the interior walls are cheap metal and hard to clean, it lacks a tray to slide under the crisp basket...) , after months of drawn out series of emails, they finally replaced it, but I am going to sell it as new- unopened box and getting Emeril LaGasse French Door

I did a 6.2lb rotisserie chicken in the maxx. Trussed it tight, no drip pan, covered bottom and elements with foil. Delicious and tender.
