People think she’s an airhead? I didn’t like her status quo cop politicizing but never thought that she was airheaded. She seems very sophisticated and her being an effective communicator I think makes her the safest bet for replacing Biden even if not optimal.

The problem with Kamala is she can’t erase the fact that she’s been useless for the last 3 1/2 years. She can’t erase her history as DA, which is not a good one in our community. She can’t erase the fact that until just a week before she was inserted as a candidate, she was running around telling anyone who would listen that all the issues and problems she now says she will fix didn’t even exist. her biggest problem, though is the way she was inserted as a candidate. There are a lot of Democrats that see that kind of thing as a bigger threat to democracy than Trump and going to vote at all.

The problem with Kamala Harris is that we’re in the age of Black people rejoicing to Not like Us and taking people’s blk card away. Nobody could foresee that building up black candidates would be met with - but they’re not really black. 🤷🏾

It’s not about her “being black” it’s about her political beliefs and clearly demonstrated pro-corporate (read:white) policies and milktoast “reform”. She has the backing of corporate lobbyist because they know she plans to do nothing to address actual ills impacting youth, the working class, people of color and queer folks. It is really that many people view the world with a myopic vision. The election is bigger than questioning someone's blackness, it is a matter of maintaining Democracy and moving forward as a country. Do you realize that if Trump and his Fourth Reich Nazi henchmen take power, the world as we know it will cease? The election is about whether America will be led by a minority of white men for the next hundred years or if power is shared among all people. The choice is yours.

@rickpearson7943 That did not happen look it up. 1500 to 1900 (the number seems to vary based on what you read or who you listen to) people were convicted of weed charges, but only 45 were ever locked up.

You're take is wrong on this one. Kamala has NEVER in her political career been considered "tough on crime" UNTIL Black men needed something to hate her for during the 2020 election. But her record does not lend to her being tough on crime. The person you claim she is running from; isn't her based on her record and actions. But yes, she is a smart cookie and knows she has to "play the game"

Lol you obviously did not watch the debates in 2020 where a woman by the name of Tusli Gabbard painted a clear picture of Kamalas tough on crime record. Kamala locked up 1500 people for marijuana, she fought to keep an innocent black man Jamal Trulove in prison for a murder he obviously did not commit. She kept a little bit less than 5000 non violent drug offenders in prison mostly black and brown men. Even after the judge told her to release them due to overcrowded prisons. She fought to keep them in prison to fight fires for 1 dollar per day that's the problem with Kamala.

@@Mariah203 She fought to keep nonviolent drug offenders in overcrowded prisons for slave labor. The supreme court did tell her to release them but I am not sure if she was the one that locked them up I just know that she fought to keep them in prison after a judge ordered them to be released.
