Apparently, this is the first time since Kiva where the main rider's transformation device not not called a "Driver", but instead just be referred to as "Henshin Belt Gavv".

Looks like we are finally breaking the 15-year old tradition ever since Decade began the trend. And I'm loving it. After Gavv, we might be going back to ???? Belt instead of ???? Driver. I'm kinda tired of the use "Driver" for nearly every main Kamen Rider henshin belt.

That's actually a great base form. The colors are also unique. From how that foot appears, looks like the gummy motif will really be prominent.

Gavv's suit, for the most part looks rather plain TBH. The helmet looks almost bat or catlike. It's real interesting that his primairy color is purple. Because almost always Purple is reserved for more antagonistic Riders.(Ouja, Genm, Rogue, Horobi, Buffa etc.) But the fact we're doing it for the protag is something new. Other than that, I do't really have any real expectations for this show yet because we still don't even have a plot synopsis.

I personally am not a fan of the suit. The helmet or the shoulder pads feels off for me. Some pictures, he looks decent others not. Still, i gotta admit the big foot gummy kicking the glass is a really cool shot for a poster

It’s cool to see a new rider with a food based motif. But honestly next year, I really hope the next rider show has a music motif. I think it would be interesting to see a rider show centered around different music genres

Do you not like houtarou? or is it another mc? if so I am curious on why you may not like houtarou or another mc in Kamen Rider if you don’t mind me asking I just want to hear more opinions on gotchard to see why people don’t like the series and see where they are coming from (sorry if it came off rude)

@@trippinsince86The reason is that most people hate the main character Houtarou due to his personality being childish. Not the writing. They’re disappointed that it’s not a normal or a badass character like Ace was in the previous season. This makes sense anyways since Toei did watered down this year with their fifth Reiwa seasons to target to younger audiences.

The second official leak to be real for a suit behind Kamen Rider Legend. It is definitely a back to basics look which was sorta the motif for the geats entry form but still feels a bit more basic than it, probably cause it also looks like an older rider suit from the early hesei era. However will wait and see as time goes on when the series airs in September, maybe it grow on me and other viewers who feel the same, as possible add ons to the suit can possibly make it look better.

Is gotchard that bad? I think I’m only on the 7th episode?and my friend got me into kamen rider since I like power rangers and he said “it’s power rangers but cooler” so Iv watched like the first episodes of OOO,revise and W But I didn’t think gotchard was too bad? 🤷‍♂️ might be because it was the first one I saw

Its really not that bad at all, definitely got some issues with the story but overall i've been enjoying it a lot (my favorite in reiwa so far other than revice) and its got some really good moments. You should definitely catch up now that its wrapping up soon!

Honestly I can see it being enjoyable to people who are newer or not as jaded. For me its just not great overall because its kind a checklist of things we see in every rider series. Not a lot of originality imo. Doesn't help that I can't stand the lead. If I liked Hotaro more it would make the show a lot more enjoyable for me.

honestly i am going to miss gotchard although there are things that could of been done to make it better writing wise but i am definitely gonna miss it because of how i have been enjoying the series quite a lot, but i am looking forward to gavv i find the suit interesting and the theme the only thing throwing me off is the red driver with a purple, yellow, blue suit but i am sure i’ll get used to it

I have never hope for a series to end faster such as Gotchard, I'm so fucking done. The show just keeps getting my hopes up and then disappoints me time and time again. 40+ episodes in, valvarad keeps being a mannequin in episodes and episodes, end game enemies with zero depths, final forms that are lackluster and have little to nothing to do with "Alchemy". Also getting really sick and tired of the chemy sound like how you brought it up.

aye man i respect your opinion on why you dislike gotchard but some of these points have been apart of the reiwa era rider shows like the final arc enemies having no depth the only final arc enemy in the reiwa era to have depth to me in my opinion was ark since he was talked about a lot during zero-one, as much i enjoy gotchard i do wish alchemy was used a little bit more with our riders and not our side characters

@@trippinsince86 You need to elaborate on what "don't need to be like" that means. What I said was not in any ways rude. I don't know what's your problem, I have stated my point, I dislike a series because there are more things I dislike than things I like, what part of this argument is that hard to understand. There are more dull moments than interesting moments. Also, a series can be wacky yet fun instead of wacky yet dull. Also, in what ways am I denying that other series doesn't have the same downside and since when did I say I gave free pass to other series having the same problem? Do you know what other Reiwa series I like or dislike? Nope, its all just your own preconception and assumptions. Maybe I did not make my last comments clear enough, every series always has its downside, it'd be foolish to think otherwise. Gotchard just has too many cons and dull moments and not enough interesting moments to keep me hooked Also, you claimed you respect my opinion and wasn't against my opinion yet you're said some of my points makes no sense, you're really just contradicting yourself here. With everything I've said as a whole, please elaborate how I'm not making sense.

@@decyst6294 i am nowhere near arguing with you bro you the one that turned it into one i was trying to be kind and simply point out something i thought was off, it’s fine you think gotchard has dull moments i can see why you’d say that and it’s how you feel as a viewer, all i am saying is that the villain point isn’t just a gotchard problem it has nothing to do with what reiwa shows you like or dislike it has nothing to do with my prospective or your prospective but the way you painted it as a gotchard problem and not a reiwa era problem is subjective that’s my whole point every series does indeed have a downside and those downsides are our opinions but slamming one series for something other series has done is what make no sense to me yeah i can only speak from my assumptions like you do it’s how i took the comment to me it felt like you brought up the point because you dislike the series but don’t bring up how it’s problem with reiwa because you may like those shows but man there was no reason to make it seem like an argument i shouldn’t have used points that was a mistake on me because it was mad late i wasn’t fully paying attention sorry about that but it’s really only the villain point everything else is your opinion and that’s fine but my whole point is don’t put an overall problem with an era on one show because you dislike the show if it comes off rude my fault i apologize for that but i genuinely just wanted to know why you painted it as just a gotchard problem and not a whole reiwa problem
