My conclusion is that this Voyager XL is still the king of the classic longboard category. The ambient light and the new remote were good, but the basics of movement, power performance, and range were all satisfactory. If you prefer the classic longboard type E-board, I can definitely recommend it. 저의 결론은 이번 보이저 XL도 여전히 클래식 롱 보드 카테고리의 왕이라고 생각됩니다. 엠비언트 라이트와 새로운 리모트도 좋았지만 움직임, 동력성능, 레인지의 기본적인 부분들도 모두 만족스러웠습니다. 클래식한 롱보드 타입의 E보드를 선호하신다면 무조건 추천드릴 수 있는 보드였습니다.

Did you reprogram the ESC if you changed the size of wheels or simply plug and play ?

If you want to change the wheel, both the remote and the board should be turned off... 1. Press and hold the power button on the remote to switch to pairing mode. 2. Press and hold the power button on the board until it is paired with the remote. 3. Once paired, you can set the wheel diameter on the remote.

Thanks for the great review as always Kami. I always wait for your reviews before deciding which board to purchased. I have purchased both the Acedeck NYX and X3 4WD based on your reviews. I’m have now ordered the Voyager XL! If I didn’t already have the X3 4wd I would probably have ordered the new X3 also lol

I have one of the original Meepos that came out, the short board, it still has the original battery, still hits 28mph and has never one time broken down on me or failed. I love Meepo boards, they are terrific. And I think mine has the Molicell batteries too. excellent choice

Yes, the color matching of this Voyager XL is really simple and nice to look at. I also think the 8A charger is a really big selling point. Actually, I didn't wake up, I stayed up all night and went out riding. Because I usually can't wake up at that time. LOL The weather is crazy these days, so it's almost impossible to ride during the day. (Almost 40 degrees) Yeah, Simple is best haha, and the Voyager's gear drive sound sounded especially nice to listen to. I always appreciate your detailed viewing comments, bro :)

It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't use 14s high voltage like Paragon or Backfire, but I still think Voyager with its 3P series battery is better. (It's far more advantageous in long range and discharge rate usage.)

Just received my Voyager XL production model and wanted to share the differences I found between it and the review sample: 1. The ambient strip on the production model is a dark grey color, not white like in the review. 2. The charger provided is a 300W 6A charger, not the the 400W 8A charger. The 6A charger does not have a display or USB-C cable. (Very disappointed) 3. The m6s remote is not programmable for acceleration and braking % for individual custom settings. 4. The Meepo Cyclone 105 wheels fit onto the kegel pulleys just fine.

1. It looked white in my video, but it was actually a color close to beige. Even so, it wasn't gray. 2. This is my fault. After the review, I confirmed that the main product's charger is 6Ah. I should have notified it, but I missed it. Sorry, Bro. 3. That's how the ESC and remote system they applied to XL. Four speed modes or braking modes can replace it. 4. Yeah, that's right! @@KAMiJUINs, definitely not your fault bro. Just wanted to share this info. If anything, I think it would be best for Meepo to send review boards that are exactly the same specs as the production board, especially the accessories or at least inform the reviewers like you beforehand what you will actually be getting. In the case of the Voyager XL , I think the biggest misconception is the 8A GAN charger being changed out for the 6A, but the website does specify it comes with the 300W 6A so buyers have to read the details. Tall barrel bushings are difficult to install due to their short kingpins.

I tried to fit a tall barrel bushing before, but a normal kingpin wasn't enough for that length. As far as I know, you can buy a longer kingpin at the aftermarket. Search for it. Also, I'll let you know if I find it.

Hi, there :) If you want a classic street board and want to secure a certain range, I think Voyager XL is a board I can recommend. And consumer services have a large difference in experience from person to person, so there is nothing I can advise.

Ide rather have a Tynee Ultra x pro for a classic e longboard. Meepo are unsafe and unreliable. A time or two every single month it seems like someone on Reddit shows a picture of their snapped Meepo truck and some of them how they ended up in the hospital. I’ve even seen their forged trucks snap. It’s always a meepo. Meepo customer service is a 5/10 while Tynee is a 10/10 as the owner Aiden is their customer service who designs the boards and you can’t beat that. The Tynee is also made with better wood than the voyager so I’m confident it won’t ever crack on me. The voyager is a sick performer though, but the 90 amp Tynee is fast enough. There’s better boards for chasing speed.

The movement performance was almost the same as the previous belt, but in terms of power performance, the torque was stronger due to the change in gear ratio, and the resistance during free-rolling was also reduced with the change to a gear drive.

@@KAMiJUINs OK, heard someone saying the RGBs makes the board stiffer for instance the Exway Paragon. Also, Backfire used to boast about the trucks on the zealot S being forged making them stronger than cast now on the S2 and X boast about them being gravity cast which is the oldest way of casting making them less strong. What do you think? I may have asked you before, the enclosure of the ESC and battery of Backfire and Exway are independently sealed whilst Tynee just has a cap over these which should make the Tynee less resistant to water ingress especially when the board flexes. What is you opinion?

something must be wron with your top speed measurements how are you getting so low numbers on every board? Did you try it with multiple phones/apps/devices? You should be getting a much higher top speed on most boards and some of them I tried top speed myself and got way higher like with the exway

I'm using the GPS app. I always measured the top speed and come home to check if it's correct using the physical formula within the margin of error. If the top speed you measured and I were different, it could be because of the difference in the specifications of the motor or the gear ratio or the different wheel diameter.

Hi guys, the Meepo Voyager as been the worst bad board I've ever had. Battery broken in 60 km no warranty coverage. Deck cracked in two lengthwise after 1500 km, uncomfortable wheels and too rigid deck. The meepo belts break like waves on a breakwater, and the bearing is really limited. In short, I wouldn't recommend Meepo for anything in the world, there are many other manufacturers who don't give a damn about their customers. PS: no battery upgrade on this one, it's exactly the same that mine....

HEAVY RIDERS BEWARE (~90kg+). At 12:54 as well as 13:30 it sounds like the gears are skipping while Kami's braking. I believe he says he’s around 165lbs(~75kg) which means people above his weight class are at extreme risk of their Meepo Voyager XL skipping. Usually with belt drives, if you set the belts too loose, they’ll begin to skip rather than tear. This is dangerous because it’s bad for the motors and the efficiency of the board will go down. Additionally, you’ll be more likely to get hurt at times where you need to brake aggressively. However, you can simply replace the belts and tighten them until the issue goes away. With the gear drive, you’re are the behest of Meepo (who’s known for dropping their customers the second they loose warranty). So, if you’re above ~90kg. DO NOT BUY THIS BOARD WITH GEAR DRIVE!!!!
