Just bought the Kampa pro rally 260 Awning today and found the video really useful and looking forward to setting it up and enjoying the extra living space to my caravan.

We have the same awning and would suggest putting the extendable tubes on the bottom of the 3 legs before erection, rather than trying to put them on once the awning is up, as shown in the video. Leave them on when packing it away also. We also lightly peg each leg as we put it up (essential on a breezy day) to stop the awning collapsing in on itself during erection. Overall an excellent video, we have been very pleased with our Rally Pro 330, and putting it up gets faster with practice. At half the price of the air version, whats not to like?

It’s a good idea to read the instructions that come with the awning THEN watch this video. We’re on our second awning of this type and rewrote the instructions to highlight the main points. The instructions supplied are too ‘wordy’

I have an 1968 conestoga trailer and would like to know if these Awnings would fit my trailer.

Hi Darlene, it possible might. Do you have a 'C' rail on it? If it does, you would then have to measure the height to the rail and also the lenght of the rail. Check out this video as it shows you where you need to measure; kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJi0ap9jmdl-hNU Hope this helps.

I have just bought one of these second hand and haven’t used as a brand new caravanner so have concentrated on guard two trips on getting everything else right. This video is of little useful instruction to me as it is filmed from miles away and has no commentary. I can’t see which pipes are which, what he does when inside awning, what he is clipping to what etc...very frustrating tbh
