I love Zion NP...Angel's Landing and the Narrows are 2 hikes for the brave of heart. Enjoyed seeing the beautiful footage you got in Zion and you introduced me to Calf Creek Falls which I will look into visiting. Thanks for sharing...keep up the good work!!!

Looks nice. I did a recent trip to all 5 National Parks and Escalante and went on a very bumpy road to peek-a-boo canyon and Zebra slot canyon which has amazing rocks with beautiful colors and stripes. Arches is another great park.Moab is only about 3 hours drive from SLC

I was in Zion last week. I experienced the same problem with shuttle bus tickets not being available. There is a trail called East Mesa. The trailhead is before you get into the park so no shuttle bus required. The trail takes you out to Observation Point. It's one of the most amazing views! Southern Utah is truly a beautiful place.

Wow, now i want to go hiking. Back in the 1980's our upward bound program went on hikes in Zion and Bryce canyon national parks. I remember we camped at one of the hikes and it was fun.

I predict you will return to Zion NP.....You have a real good reason to spend lots of fun times in Utah....time with your sister! My favorite of Utah’s Mighty Five....Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches and Canyonlands is.....drumroll please....CAPITOL REEF! Love the little community of Torrey....lots of hiking and scenic backcountry drives...less visited too. These parks are fantastic in the winter. Can’t wait to resume traveling.

If you get the chance to go back, go on the "Angel's Landing" trail and the trail that starts at "Weeping Rock". It starts by going though a slot canyon for maybe a mile (check weather reports first, you don't want to get caught in a slot canyon if a rain storm is anywhere near the area). When you come out the other end, it's like you just traveled back in time about a million years, it's so cool!

We stayed in Kanab about five years ago. It's close to the north rim of the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park. Beautiful area!

Hoi, Julia, really interesting. Been to the Zion area some time ago, but not to Kanab. So good to follow that there is a chance for you to use the time with travels. Here, STBY flying is possible, theoretically, but with all the lockdowns and restrictions no way to go actually for somewhere else. These tiny little house was definitelly a good catch, looking for more vids.

That waterfall was amazing. If you have a chance to get to Oregon Multnomah Falls is about 30 minutes east of PDX with an exit to the park off I-84. I've never seen anything like it.

Sorry you were unable to get on the shuttle and experience some of the other amazing trails. Zion is so beautiful and if you are ever there when it is raining you will see hundreds of smaller water falls cascading and they change as the sun rises and sets. Did you travel through the tunnel? Hope you will be able return someday and as I mentioned previously if you would like to stay, for free, at the Zermatt Resort in Midway, Ut. just drop me a note and I can arrange it. Wow, stunning scenery Julia, the Autumn colours were so bright. The second hike on the Watchmans Trail, looked as though you needed a good head for heights.
