Mark, you were a big part of the reason why we got into dispersed truck camper camping. We’ve just dispersed camped seven nights in a row in seven different locations around Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado. But we were chasing high elevations and cooler temperatures. We’ve been gone for a month and heading home to Texas over the next two days. About 5,600 miles by the time we get home. Got to see good friends, national parks, the Pacific coast of California and Oregon, and many points in between. Thanks for your videos and great ideas and tips over the past couple of years. Stay safe and we will see you on your channel!

Thanks Doug for commenting about your trip. I'm glad the videos are helpful, and it sounds like y'all had a great trip. I don't blame you for the high elevations. The heat in Arizona and Utah can be brutal. LOL I'm glad you had a fun and safe trip! Thanks for watching Doug!

Been out there camping/hiking a few times... watched the side-by-sides and ATV's do that little hill down to the creek.

I do wish I was there now. Beautiful area to explore. I can't imagine the ATV's going up that hillside. LOL It was difficult just to walk back up it. LOL
@Hiker_Mike6 ай бұрын
@@DispersedCamperMan Yes, it's a difficult hill to climb up. That trail you hiked on goes for miles, I've hiked it a few times. March is a great time to camp out there, nice and cool, lol. Happy travels.

Thanks for all these great boondocking spots Mark…we always enjoy your videos! We are getting ready to buy a new truck for our own boondocking adventures and are wondering if you have had many problems or maintenance issues with your power stroke diesel and how many miles are on it? Thanks!
@DispersedCamperMan Жыл бұрын
Thanks Mary! I've got a little over 185,00 miles on my 2011 F250 6.7, I bought it 2013 with only 30,000 miles on it. The only issues I've had was to do with the DEF on it. I've had to replace Diesel exhaust fluid pump twice, fan clutch replaced, and a couple of recalls on it one being the EGR Cooler replacement. Nothing major though. Engine, turbo, transmission is still original and have held up nicely. I do religiously keep the oil changed as scheduled, fuel filters replaced, and all the engine, transmission, diff oils changed on schedule. I'm probably going to be trading my truck in some time late next next. Probably another F250 or F350.

I do go up into higher terrain, but I also stay in lower in the heat. Most folks don't have generators for A/C and have to leave the Moab area, I like to stay and have these places to myself. Safe Travels!
