@WMCS3 жыл бұрын
For how much one of them cost, on average £250., they don’t last the life of the clutch. The flywheel alway goes before the clutch reaches about 50% on European cars I’m noticing. But all the Far East cars I work on. Especially Honda engines. The DMF can take two clutches with well over 150k miles before it fails.

I own this model of junk. The gearbox, at least on mine, was never in the reign of a kings pudding assembled correctly at the factory - the synchromesh is dreadful. The lumpy and sticky gear change from new is really irritating. And last week, I'm sure I felt the first signs of clutch slip. It's barely done 50,000 miles of careful, non-loaded driving.
