If you really understood the language..... You would get the chills when he says "darshana" too. The word means a pot of things, but in this particular context (bootha kola). The point when the demigod posses the body, the "darshana" begins

Darshana in this context means when demigod shows the human it's true form.

In kannada, when someone calls you, you reply with a "Woh" to acknowledge. In my understanding, when the demigod takes over the person they say "Woh" in a artistic and over enunciated way to say that they are here and acknowledge that they hear us. It's just my understanding, I'm from North Karnataka and it might mean something different down south where it originates.

I don't know about Kannada, but in Tulu, "woh" is a regular response to being called. The people channeling the Bhuta only do it at a loud volume to signify the energy of the Bhuta.

In Tulu language, if somebody calls you , you will say "WOAH" as a response , its like yeah i am listening you . When you call someone and there will be more people from distance that time response will have more energy. They have not used for cinematic purpose , in generally daiva speaks it saying i am there for my people to serve righteous. PS:- That shoute is not normal , its more over emotion for people who living in that region especially Tulunadu❤

The Kadambas era-kadamba dynasty (345-540 CE) were an ancient royal family of karnataka india,that ruled northern Karnataka and the konkan belt from banavasi in present-day uttara kannada district. This story will be arround 1600-1800 years old, so its a prequel. And the charecter shown holding trishul in one hand ,axe in another hand ,we can see a horn of wild boar in his ear. With blood stains all over his body.. it might be a scene ,during or after the war. Trishula is lord shivas weapon, same way guliga daiva uses trishul as weapon because it is shiva gana( soldier) In one hand axe is there- axe is the weapon used by Lord parashuram, the place of mangalore or dakshina kannada is called as parasurama sristi,( creation), after killing kshatriyas lord parashuram threw his axe to sea,where ever the axe fell, sea gone back and a land formed there ,this land was full of nagas, but they submerged in sea and stayed in patala lokha. Allowing human to migrate to stay in that land. That is reason in tulunadu culture we worship serpents( adhi shesha, vasuki) associated with lord Shiva, Devi, Vishnu and Subramanya. Wild boar fangs in his ear shows it is connected to daiva panjurli. One legend with all three charecteristics of daiva guliga, Lord parashrama and daiva panjurli. Story must be connected to these charecters.😊 Regarding " WOV" its a statement given by daiva( demi god)or expression of protection towards his people.

Its releasing in English and you can watch English teaser as well. Its likely to be set in Kadamba Dynasty era. Mostly likely its gonna be a Sequels of Kantara prequel (like The Hobbit series after LOTR) which is why Chapter 1.

This movie looks more like the origins of all Tulu speaking clans and its Bhoota daiva worship ways. Historically Tulu dynasties and smaller kingdoms in ancient times were created by Bunt chieftains (Alva, Shettys, hegde, ballal, Rai etc ), longest ruling Tulu Kingdom was for 1100 yrs the Alupa Kingdom a tulu speaking Kingdom but who had direct alliance with Kadamba Dynasty(Era which is shown in movie teaser), and kadambas were first kannada Dynasty as in Kingdom to have kanada as its official language. According to one of the various theories regarding the origin of Kadamba Kings, they are connected to the Bunts(Shettys)since one inscription states the kadambas belonging to the Nāga or the serpent lineage to which Bunts also belong and many Bunt families hold the surnames of Kadamba and Varma which were the titles of the Kadambas. So its possible this movie is about historical origins of all Tulu speaking clans and people and also origin of Bhoota daiva worship coastal Karnataka.

The guy is Rishabh Shetty, and he is playing role of Lord "Parshuram". Lord "Panjurali"from Kantara movie is disciple of Lord Parshuram.

Kuchh bhi? If you are not familiar with the culture don't comment, please. There is no connection between Panjurli and Parshuram. Panjurli is a local Tulunadu deity that personifies the spirit of the wild boar. Parshuram is a Brahmin who is considered an avatar of Vishnu. Moreover, Rishabh cannot be playing Parshuram because the story is set during the reign of the Kadamba Dynasty (4th to 5th century CE) as mentioned in the trailer. He is probably playing a king from that dynasty. So, this story is probably only losely connected to the original Kantara because, as far as I am aware, the Kadambas did not rule coastal Karnataka.
