People have been rapping about that stuff since the Kane, Cool G, Puba, Heavy D days. Mase was just a good rapper overall.
@OldAcc.2 жыл бұрын
@@brandnewstart8663 i hear u but in the 90s/2000s rappers were hardcore and “gangsta”. They were rapping about hard white and guns the size of lil bow wow. Mase came back with a clean album rapping about how much he loves his then wife.
@brandnewstart86632 жыл бұрын
@@OldAcc. no, just like today that's just what they were rapping about on the surface. Wu-Tang, Tupac, Biggie, Nas, and so forth was rapping about stuff like that. Look into J-Live, The Nonce, Cru, Blu, and so on. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean rap that isn't about drugs and other sht doesn't exist. Start searching and stop just straight hating without looking below the surface man. Even some of the rappers rapping about that stuff had tracks that were about other stuff, like Grand Puba. Hell, even Tupac and Biggie had some songs referencing God, love, and one or another girl that they were more than intimate with. Check Tupac's lesser known discography. I definitely know he has some rap songs about love and being grateful he has the career he had. He even has a a completely dedicated to Tyson. Some things aren't that black and white.
@OldAcc.2 жыл бұрын

I agree with you 1000%. For those that don't know, Kanye West's Stem Player has the potential to revolutionize the way we consume and listen to music... and it's simple and fun to use. It allows you to basically remix any song (not just Kanye's music), make a recording of the song and save it to a device. It's more than worth $200.00 I can tell you that for sure! In the spirit of full transparency I'll inform everyone that I'm copying and pasting my description of the device so that I can respond to any negative comments about Kanye and/or his Stem Player.
