AzzWalk AVERAGE?? Bruh you haven’t listened to his first 5 albums then, especially MBDTF
@AzzWalk5 жыл бұрын
I doubt he actually produces the songs. Most rapper-producers often use ghost writers to actually produce the song. If he was really so good why is he more famous as a rapper than a producer? His first few albums were great because of his rapping and lyrics not for the music. MBDTF had some good songs but the production credits list Mike Dean and Jeff Bhasker as producers alongside Kanye so really I think it's those two who made the beats. Kanye is known for rapping because he is good at it, production behind-the-scenes is just name-sake. They put his name on the credits because he wanted to be there.

@@RayhanFUT it’s in a different count. The sample is not in the standard 4/4, meaning 4 beats in one bar. So it’s difficult to make a beat in 4/4 using a sample in 3/4. You have to get creative to link it up or chop it up to fit nicely.

@@WeAmLove Jesus Christ, what a douche. That’s Kanye West. Say whatever you want about his rapping career, but the mans a goddamn legend when it comes to production. Go complain about how good producers have it nowadays not having to splice analog tape together at the local guitar center “pro audio” section you give people a hard time inside of. Guess what also changed? Everyone and their brother is an aspiring producer now. Yeah. DMVLeGenD96 Me too. He only used one on Yeezus, which was Bound 2. I guess it made way for his experimentation, but I agree that he's better using Soul samples.

Too many care about how a track is made.. when you hear a song on the radio that's slamming you don't say "oh he did that on fl studio or with a drum machine. Dude is talented. Just because he uses a machine or program to achieve a sound doesn't negate the fact... I purchased fl studio11 and they don't have a "talent" edition!!!!
@Calvinxcix7 жыл бұрын
ebusseyrchmi agreed. I wanna see those people try use FLS, even making a simple beat proves difficult from time to time and programming isnt as easy as it sounds.

I feel like the older generation sees someone make something like this with technology and negates the creativity or talent it actually takes to make this, my dad for one think all new music is bogus because it’s made with computers, some of it is, but this shit right here isn’t a computer doing all the work
@Trey_Cole3 жыл бұрын
@@BrettfordBolts tell your dad how many people want to produce now, and how that makes it a lot harder to get noticed nowadays, for the talent you may have gets forever lost in the vast ocean of producers. Everything comes with a pro and a con. Everything.

His utilization of samples amazes me and I absolutely adore him as a Multi-Dimensional Artist i mean i love this fuckin dudes beats and they are always truly silky and legendary real talk. Sampling seems easy but when you take a different time signature and chop it around to make it that time sig i can say from experience that shit takes like days for a lil dude like me.

Rashon Lark I'm sayin bro! they always relegate pitched up soul beats to when "artists where in their glory years" you know boring this style is in 2014? old heads need to move on. kanye been the same ever since 2002 and before that.
@jryuwah10 жыл бұрын
of course I know he uses samples but this specific 2004 college dropout style of making beats would be boring to listen to if kanye were to do it again. that was groundbreaking THEN but I like how he moved on. I was just saying people associate pitched up soul samples with the golden and best sound hip hop can offer but there's more to it than that. you can use those samples in a different manner like kanye does. longing for college drop out type beats are just people who aren't use to another sound. if Kanye went back to doing that same technique people like the one we replied to would be like "this sounds recycled"
